Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) is not keeping quiet about the NYSC certificate brouhaha concerning finance Minister Kemi Adeosun....
No date has been fixed for hearing.
Last week, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) Chairman, Itse Sagay (SAN), described the controversy about Adeosun’s certificate as unnecessary.
Sagay also stated that President Muhammadu Buhari cannot afford to sack Adeosun because the minister is “brilliant”.

ReplyDelete@anon 15:22 You are missing the point. No one says she must serve or produce her certificate. The issue is fraudulent document that has her name is flying around. In America she would issue a statement to refute the document or resign. They care about integrity more than skills. America will thoroughly investigate her and prosecute her if found guilty of forgery!

DeleteThe attack on Adeosun is largely bcos she's a woman in a visible position bar none. If not, how many men in Nigeria are serving in high profile roles without even a basic bachelor's degree, yet, nobody is calling them out? Even more, this case is merely a distraction about NYSC certificate and not about her educational /professional qualifications for which she's amply suited. It seems Naijas prefer illiterates to occupy high positions so long as they come with penises forgetting this is 2018. AllTribesMatter
