Motherhood With TeeWhy - Trip To Lagos.

Hey Lagos, here we are!!!

Esther, Deborah and I took a trip to Lagos. They are done with their summer school, so they have a few more days before resumption.

We left for the airport quite early so that we could get good seats on the plane. And we were able to get the ones immediately after business class.
My greatest mistake when leaving home was not taking books for the girls to read and colour for the duration of the flight. They showed themselves wella.

Everyone knew we were on the flight o.They kept asking so many questions, even the air hostess had a good laugh, from asking why they were pulling the curtains shielding us from seeing what was happening in business class, to screaming when we entered small turbulence o.

A man on the opposite aisle, had to ask us where they were from!! LOL
Deborah carried the cork of her drink , filled it and started sipping from it, Na wa, So much to occupy themselves from boredom.

When we landed , we went straight off to my friend's house.
My friends children go to.one of these posh schools in Lagos and they speak with a kinda funny accent.

By the time the girls had spent like 2 hrs playing with them, Esthers intonation had changed.

Aha my daughter started speaking 'phonee'. Trust Deborah , she just didn't get it, she had to blurt out ' Aha Esther why are u talking funny, '

My friend and I just burst into laughter.

Children and the way they pick up things.
Lagos, please be kind to us o, I no want hold up nor mosquito bites.
God bless us all. Have a great day..

God will fight our battles and we will be victorious just like Deut 20:4 says.
Big Hugs

  3. I was once on a flight where a boy who was about 3 years kept trying to correct his 2 year old sister's alphabets singing.

We laughed so hard on the plane cos they were both so wrong but it was so cute.

    2. Yes, seat numbers are on tickets
But sometimes, some seats are empty on the plane so you can change seats
Not supposed to happen but happens anyway.

    3. Not everytime, sometimes, you can't check in online to pick seats.

Some get to the airport early, especially when they are traveling together, to get seats close to each other.

    5. Domestic flights?

You usually get seat numbers on your boarding pass at the airport.

Some airline counter officers even ask if you want aisle or window seat.

    6. Some flights offer free seating options.

    9. Most times, for domestic flights, the planr is usually half gull or half empty, and many seats unoccupied, so you get to seat anywhere you desire not withstanding your ticket number, provided no one with the seat no on his/her ticket comes to chance you.

I have been on a flight, aero, had my seat No, got in and saw someone lounging on my seat already, no much fuss, the seat wasn't special afterall i opted for another one.

Seating arrangement is usually flexible like that
Maybe you all just haven't noticed before, prolly go in and walk straight to your seat and start forming so as not to be mistaken for a local person

  12. The joys of summer vacations. Summer just is not the same without a summer getaway.

  13. I d usually advice maintaining the seat number given.we all pray against evil or mishaps. Its just a good way to know who sat where. its thesame with buses too. Some would ask for your next of kins phone number before the bus sets out.The seats are also numbered with markers. Just a means to identify who is who in an accident. May God continually protect us day in and out. Amen.
