Mama Nnuku's Gist Corner - Curbing DV

There are so many ways to curb it and this might be one.....

The sound of iya Norfi had woken everyone up this fateful day because she was screaming at the top of her voice ''egbami oooo Mo ku ooo ( I am dead) Oti lu mi paaa o ( He has beaten me to death) ''

We had all rushed out , and met the husband beating and kicking her .. una don see where them dey beat thief before bah, this is the same way this man was beating his wife who has 3 children for him..

We were all begging him to please leave the woman alone and he refused swearing he would kill her and kill whoever tries to stop him , as i never ready to die na, and others sef no wan go early grave all of us begin waka comot one after the other ...
He beat the wife to his satisfaction, dressed up and left the house.

Later in the evening he returned and trouble broke out again and he started beating the woman again, the woman who in turn was ready for him quickly ran out to make the disgrace epic for him, he had chased her behind when the woman fell on one knee and immediately grabbed his balls and held on tightly to it like her life depended on it.

Baba norfi started to shout and plead with water streaming from his eyes ''iya norfi joor (please) shanu mi (have mercy on me)'' and people began to insult him and make jest of him, baba norfi begin plead say him no go ever touch the woman again, but for where ? mama norfi no gree ooo .. ''kini yi leni yi , mo ma te foo ni ..'' ( lol) make una no vex i no sabi translate this part ..

After much pleadings from people she left his balls, and the weak man ran away in shame .

Well iya norfi packed all her stuff and with her children left the house that night .
In my opinion she should have burst his balls (haaaahahhaha)

  1. That's your opinion nnuku. If she had burst his balls, those kids will have no mother to look after them. She should have been in jail.

    2. If you guys sell stories to each other must you bring it here. That is why I keep saying you are a sissy, you talk too much for a man. You are the kind of guy that would sleep with a woman and tell. Even if you know her must you let everyone know. The dear says it all anyways.

  6. Mama nnuku, I don't like your stories. You seem to be an uncouth woman, one of those poor and razz women. I prefer the emergency series post. You can see from it that the nurse is educated, posh and beautiful and financially ok. Stella post oo.

    5. So you prefer beautiful and rich people only to send in their stories? What about the poor then? Poor people can't work their way up again because of stupid fools like u. Nonsense.

    8. Some people just like spreading their frustration. Mama nnuku writes very good English and everyone knows her column is written the way it is for humor. I always look forward to them.
Vera, I love your stories. I hope you are considering publishing them as a collection of short stories like someone advised you here a while ago. These stories will sell like hotcake especially in the international community but you need to remember to translate the slangs and Yoruba. You could publish e-books only as a start and sell them on Google play etc. Let Aunty abi uncle anon keep looking for tush, unrazz stories. She/he no get razz people for him family abi older generation. Tueh

  7. I like the fact that she left. Better , before he kills her. The translation is something like "shey it's this thing, I will press it die"

if she burst the balls the man will die. if you are a man you would have understand the pain.
if someone mistakenly hit something on the balls it is very painful that you have to look for seat, sit and nurse the pain and you said burst. lols
    I love this story.

    2. Odogwu Chike, the way a man's balls pains him when squeezed, is the way woman's body pains her when beaten. So a man should learn to respect his balls first to avoid his balls being smashed.

Vera, tell that woman to go and learn how to squeeze better. How to squeeze till it smashes!

      Mtcheeeeww....

  12. Reminds me of the story my mum told us about how my father used to beat her up for the slightest reason. So one day the eating was too much and she decided to lay an ambush for him at night..she turned off all the lights and took her EBA turning stick and pounced on him while he was sleeping. She beat him til he started begging. That was the end of the beatings, even though other forms of abuse did not stop.

  14. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout of
your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people
could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of
text for only having one or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
