Labour Minister Ngige Says He Is Under Pressure To Run For Senate..

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, on Monday, disclosed that he was considering contesting for the Anambra Central senatorial seat in the 2019 general elections.

The minister stated this at a press briefing in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, saying he was under pressure from people of the zone, Anambra State and South-East leader to contest the election.

He, however, said he was still considering the request and would make his stand known within the next two weeks. Ngige, if he vies, would be squaring up against Chief Victor Umeh, who currently represents the senatorial district.

  7. I love Ngige irrespective of his party.

That Anambra is one of the best state today is as a result of the precedent he set.

After what Mbadinuju did in Anambra, it was Ngige that wiped the people's tears.

Guy man is a tough niggar, even though he wasn't in alignment with the the federal government, he was still able to give ndi Anambra the best.

The roads he built are still motorable till date. If he contests, he has my vote, it's not about the party but the man.

Victor should better seat up ooo cos this man won Dora Akunyili hands down in the same election twice even with her federal government backing.
