The minister stated this at a press briefing in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, saying he was under pressure from people of the zone, Anambra State and South-East leader to contest the election.
He, however, said he was still considering the request and would make his stand known within the next two weeks. Ngige, if he vies, would be squaring up against Chief Victor Umeh, who currently represents the senatorial district.

ReplyDelete"Nigeria's senate will be unproductive as long as Former Governors as it as a retirement home." - Donald Duke
ReplyDeleteGreedy lots.
Lol... Stella when salary is more than 30 million naira why won't they be under pressure to contest. Retirement goals plus an occasional side dose of entertainment and drama๐๐
ReplyDeleteI love Ngige irrespective of his party.
ReplyDeleteThat Anambra is one of the best state today is as a result of the precedent he set.
After what Mbadinuju did in Anambra, it was Ngige that wiped the people's tears.
Guy man is a tough niggar, even though he wasn't in alignment with the the federal government, he was still able to give ndi Anambra the best.
The roads he built are still motorable till date. If he contests, he has my vote, it's not about the party but the man.
Victor should better seat up ooo cos this man won Dora Akunyili hands down in the same election twice even with her federal government backing.
Pressure from who or where mthcheeew continue deceiving yourself
