Kano State Governor Umar Ganduje Bags Igbo Chieftancy Title

Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, was on Thursday conferred with the Chieftaincy Title of Aguna Eche'mba 1 of Ndigbo....







It was done by Chairman of the Abia State and South East Council of Traditional Rulers His Eminence, Eze Eberechi Dick. Aiki dai Baba in Kano.








What does the title mean please?

    I don't understand why you will crown a Hausa man aguna echemba in Igbo land .
    Is this showoff or what ?
    Can an Igbo man go to hausaland and be given any chieftaincy title ??

      An Igbo man can be confer a title in Hausa land but my worries are was it done rightly? Does titleship recipent this day worth it? It has been politicized and our culture desecrated.

    I don't know how this things are being done but I think the process is being abused. What has Ganduje done in Abia State or Igbo land as a whole? Is this another way of sharing money or what? Things like this should be done meritoriously and not desecrated.
