I am so sad and in shock cos of the News i just received.....
There is a BV on this Blog (met her thru the blog years back)that i saw thru University and mentored (still mentor her and so proud of her progress),she is in the medical field and like a little sister to me....She is a very very good girl and totally free from any ish...
She contacted me today that she has been in hospital cos she was robbed and raped in Lagos....Virginity she was saving Gone!!...Stolen by thieves!!!
I cannot even reach her on phone or otherwise.............I am so devastated...She is in the medical field and knows what to do but it just hurts that they decided to rob her and sleep with her as well...
She says she feels empty..oh dear God!!!
Please say a little prayer for strength for her as she recupurates.

I know what is right but I’m so compromised because he’s talking about sponsoring my sister for her degree in medicine in Canada with predegree and everything. He has said he will give me all the money upfront cash whenever I’m ready.
My mum is telling me expressly that since I’ve already slept with him before it won’t mean anything if I start again. If I say no it will look like I’m selfish and my family will hate me. This life is just too hard to be decent.

Stella pls post my comment. I need some advise. My dad is struck with an illness, his left leg started swelling and the toes are turning black with series of wounds that refuse to dry up which shows blood is no more flowing to that part and the cells are becoming dead. After series of test and xrays the doctors said they will have to amputate the leg to the knee area.
We were later referred to Unilorin teaching hospital to continue the treatment. But we are all scared of amputating his leg, we fear it might cut his life short because he won't be happy seeing his leg gone everyday, but the pain is too much for him. He can't sleep nor eat very well. He is at home presently cos we still want to think about it very well before moving him to the teaching hospital. My siblings oppose it they say God will perform miracle but I'm scared for his life, he went into shock yesterday cos his bp is 80/60 very low.
Pls advise me bvs, if we should go ahead or exercise patient. Is there any probability the leg is going to be well without amputation?

I assume your dad is diabetic and wasn't properly managed which has led to complications of peripheral neuropathy with not enough blood/oxygen supply to the leg. This explains the gangrenous foot.

And I see comments like "they won't tell you what they go through " or "the repercussions won't show up now ", and I begin to wonder what repercussions they will feel later.
Or is it that the kids they already have will die cos they did abortion earlier in life or their children will live to feel the impact of the abortion (s) done by their mother (s) before they were conceived?
And how about the married ones who are done with childbearing and opt for abortion cos their contraceptives failed them or one way or the other they got an unwanted pregnancy?

In my opinion, Nigeria should legalize abortion cos it will save many from some kinda future sufferings. Not everyone who kept the "unplanned " babies were able to get back on track.
Mind you, it takes alot of family support for such persons to get where they want and many aren't lucky to like others.
Most live to feel the impact for the rest of their lives and take out the anger on the poor child (ren) which just 5 minutes on the doctor's /nurse's work bed would have saved them.
