Former Gov Kwankwaso Says He Regrets Supporting Buhari Against Jonathan

Former Kano State Governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirant, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has declared that he regretted ever supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in 2014 against the then President Goodluck Jonathan.

Kwankwaso said he and other people that dumped the PDP to bring in Buhari as president were currently regretting their actions.

Kwankwaso, who was in Owerri, the Imo state capital on a consultation visit to PDP members, condemned President Buhari’s approach to “reviving the nation’s economy”.

According to him, “Nigerians are fed up with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) “and would be happy seeing PDP return to power.

“I am sure other people like me that dumped the PDP to support President Muhammadu Buhari in 2014 against the then President Goodluck Jonathan are currently regretting their actions.”

He added, “from North to South, the citizens are looking for a government that would not pay emphasis on religion, ethnicity and culture but national development. PDP’s government in 2019 shall bring development and create the adequate platforms that provide jobs for teeming Nigerians.

“I have been in Southeast in last few days and I want to say that the state of infrastructure in this region is incredible. It is either that the government lacks the capacity to improve the economy or something. Electricity is important in this country. The people need a
government that will be just and provide jobs for teeming young Nigerians”.

  2. There are no permanent friends in politics lol. Such is expected since he decamped to the PDP to chase his presidential aspirations. He is now in the opposition so such statements are expected. But he should know that Nigerians aren't going back to thier vomits (16 years of PDP rule with little or nothing to show for it). We'll rather vote for an unknown candidate from an unknown party than vote them in the next Presidential elections. Listen, a dead Buhari is better than all the enemies of Nigeria gathered in PDP

    2. Blind bat, I put it to you that you are one of those APC e-rats , who will stop at nothing to try to force people to support the brain dead dullard, Fulani terrorist supporting, ethnic champion, from daura, but we know better, our resolve to vote him out for a much younger, intelligent, educationally sound, physically fit man in 2019 remain unshakeable.

  3. The many reasons this country will keep on retrogresing and nosediving is because we keep on revolving with the same people that created the problems in the first place. If PDP wins next election then those who are APC will return back and if APC retain power, those who defects will go back. So you see the problems. Nothing good can come out of this system.

And now d same PDP cargo is there askibg to be voted president and suddenly acting like their lack of development is d fault of an APC govt that cane into power just 3 years ago. The same APC that the east never supported. I wonder how people reason
