The Benue State Government has stated that the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has unfrozen its bank account.
Terver Akase, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom, confirmed the development to DAILY POST on Thursday.
He said, ”Yes that is what the bank told us. We are yet to confirm.”
DAILY POST had reported that anti-graft agency on Wednesday froze the account of the Benue State government.
The development came few days after Ortom dumped the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.
Crazy Efcc. I am sure they know they are APC tools and the world watching
ReplyDeleteits all over social media that EFCC never froze the account to start with, same thing with Benue account
DeleteOorr....
ReplyDeleteGood for them. Loot on
ReplyDeleteWhat was their reasons for doing that in the first place? Why now? Why wasn't when he was still with them? Remember they did that to Ekiti State last year or so. Now it is Benue and Akwaibom state. Have you heard that a northern state account was freeze? Or even an APC state? Just stay tuned for more is to come. This government will frustrate every means of opposition finance in the coming month so they won't be able to match them. Remember Mr President once said that the opposition are the ones with the money.
ReplyDeleteCasted....

ReplyDeleteThat's how they are planning and putting mechanisms in place to rig the election.
