I guess fact 3 inspired the Bruce Willis/Samuel L. Jackson movie "unbreakable". Bruce had the mutation while Samuel was the exact opposite. Mr. Glass.
ReplyDeletefact 1 so true @ Doctors handwriting especially in general hospitals.

ReplyDelete#Nothing ever happened in the past, that can prevent you from being present now*
ReplyDeleteThe doctors should be forced to write their prescription in print and not cursive.
ReplyDelete1... really? Don't think Pharmiacists and Nurses can't read Doctors' handwriting. There is a dictionary for that in medical school, nobody writes deliberately like he's sleeping or blind.
ReplyDeleteIf Doc writes *Supradyn Capsule x QD.
The QD means one per day.
If Doc writes *Supradyn RID.
The TID means 3 times in a day.
Same with names of drugs and they write those in Upgrade exams for their certifications.
It's road side Patent Medicine Drug sellers they take the written prescription to that misread handwritings.
3...Hippo...enjoy the bottom of the sea. Down there is sweeter jor.
It’s the handwriting ... not the QD etc
DeleteHandwriting.. how they scribble..
That is why in developed economies, prescriptions are written electronically, sent electronically to your pharmacy for pickup- which has eliminated this margin of error.Na we still de do paper
What if you can’t read the “supradyn”?
