Breakfast Should Be Easy....

What we eat in the Mornings should be easy............easy like Sunday Morning!







Grounded corn and fried bean flour is a good meal in the Mornings  ...

Please share any good Breakfast tips you have for breakfast in the Morning the Nigerian way................*You know what i mean*

    2. The Akara and Ogi is making me swallow saliva badly but no chance for that,I'd just boil rice with the left over vegetable stew this morning.
      I don't know why I do not have cravings in this my present condition unlike my first coldstone creamry,fried yam,cocoyam,Akara,pota pota,corn cake(eko) and fried fish was my worst addiction then and buying different types of food and eat them in half,the only thing I don't do is long throat. I don't know if it's my mindset or because pepper no rest. Still Good is faithful

  6. Pap aka Akamu aka ogi aka koko with Akara balls/moimoi/ beans is my favourite Saturday morning meal.
    It's certain that I am taking pap when I get up from bed.

    3. Pap can be made from any grain Chantelle,koko is the more liquid form of pap,sometimes half-done,often made with millet n lots of spices. Bottom line,both can be made from any grain

    4. Pap is English, koko is Hausa. Pap can be very thick or slightly thick. They are one and the same.

    2. Shantelle it is just the normal wheat you know. Nigerians call every form of swallow fufu except garri. So basically,she had wheat swallow and ogbono soup

  12. I will be eating amala,gbegiri, ewedu with fresh cat fish stew...yummy. I made my cat fish stew and gbegiri yesterday. This morning I will make my hot amala and devour them with cold zobo. Life is beautiful hare.

    2. @viva gbegiri is beans soup. Just wash the beans and remove the back,then Cook till its very tender.. Then you can add ogiri,sait to taste,palm oil , blended crayfish ,a pinch of Maggi if you want and lastly palm oil. That's all your delicious gbegiri is ready for consumption with amala,EBA, semo or any swallow of your choice.
      @Olori,I will waybill yours too. Nothing as sweet as cat fish stew with plenty pepper and very soft amala..

  14. Saturday ritual in my house is beans with ripe plantain. Before beans is ready I take Hot chocolate with a little bread if I can't wait. Beans on fire already. I want it spicy and oily today with scent leaves sprinkled at the end.

    2. Ikokore ijebu..chaii. Olori,you just brought back sweet memories. You just reminded me of my sweet old days in ijbebu ode. Those days in my secondary days in ijebu ,I always make sure I prepare ikokere with dry fish,cray fish and intestine every Saturdays. I've bn looking for water yam since I came to the north, for where I can't find any. I just have to console myself with asaro anytime I crave ifokere ijebu.

  18. Stella na only in the abroad una dey chop light food as breakfast o😅😅😅 me don knack eba with Edikang Ikong soup and malt this morning, I dey use toothpick remove the pieces of kpomo from my teeth as I dey yarn you so😆😆😆😆hehehehehe.
