Alhaji Lai Mohammed Begs Churches To Preach Good About President Buhari

The Federal Government has appealed to churches and other religious organisations to use their platforms to propagate the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the appeal at his country home, Oro, near Ilorin, Kwara, when he paid a Sallah visit to the Parish Priest of St Andrews Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Joseph Awoyale.

He also urged the Churches to use their platform to correct the misconception being circulated by naysayers that Farmers/Herdsmen were religious and ethnic induced.

Mohammed said the clashes were neither religious nor ethnic but resulted from the heightened contest for increasingly-scarce natural resources like land and water, due to demographic, environmental and other reasons.

  2. And when the church does that, you Mohammed will open your wide mouth and preach bad and lies against those who didn't align with your principal. Why forcing the church to preach good on a man you guys claimed is the man of the people with integrity? If he is good then good will be said about him but if he is not then we will criticise him.

  10. in my falz voice, parding? what achievements? which muslims or herdsmen have been charged for the senseless and endless killings of middle beltans? the Governor or a middle belt state that boldly stated he was paying herdsmen in his state not to carry out further killings has he been arrested, charged, cautioned or questioned? the other governor of a middle belt state that rebelled against the FG over their lack of provision of security to his people who were constantly attacked by the herdsmen had the IG ask that all police be withdrawn from the state as a "punishment", other civilians and law abiding citizens who criticised the FG were picked up by DSS and harrassed so pray tell, again, what is there to preach?
