DeleteI once got emotionally involved with my boss at work. But He set a standard so high that no one ever knew that he really liked me because when it was work, it was strictly work and when it was fun (which never exceeded gisting, hanging out and a little here and there), it was fun.

I have always wanted to talk about my semi-office romance, but I have never had the guts. I have even been too afraid to type in anonymous mode, because I fear that somehow my identity will be disclosed.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely wasn't something I planned. I NEVER had sex with him, I think the fact that I was a virgin at that time (still haven't had intercourse) made it easier for me to say No!!!!!!!!!!!
But truth be told, the hide and seek was fascinating, and exhilarating, but it definitely wasn't worth it. I wish I had kept my relationship with him PURER. I would have been a lot more proud of myself. I saw him recently and he touched my thighs, and it aroused some feelings within me, but I resisted everything and told him I was committed to my boyfriend. I didn't even let him touch me, I avoided all forms of body contact and when I left him, I left proud of myself and thankful for the grace to say no to sexual immorality.
I sometimes miss him and the beautiful moments we shared together, he tells me how he thinks about the magical moments we would have had if he had married me instead.
He is unhappy in his marriage, I know that for certain, cuz i have read his messages and heard some of his complaints about his wife.
However, I have learnt my place in his life; it is not my duty to make him happy, It definitely isn't mine. So with difficulty I have decided to free myself from that friendship that borders on a lot of desires and emotions.
My hand hurts, I can write no more.
