Dear Stella,
Please this is a humble plea for you to assist post this on your blog.
This is an SOS to Governor Ambode ,our road has gotten so bad that it takes 2 hours or more from Ajah under bridge to Addo round about. This is because of some very bad portions on Addo road and it causes traffic bumper to bumper.
All we are asking for is for tar to be used to fill up the bad portions and smoothen it. The stress we experience everyday is unimaginable. The wear and tear on vehicles is getting too much.
We pay fees at the toll gate , we pay taxes direct and indirect. There is no reason we should be under this hardship in Lagos state. This is an appeal.
My favourite salon is in this axis. But because of the road I can't go. If youre unlucky, you will enter traffic cos people are trying to avoid potholes. Especially rainy seasons like this!
ReplyDeleteSpot on! Chikito. It's the avoidance of those terrible pot holes that causes traffic.
DeleteAmboooo Ambo! Help!!!!
Stella did macron use the road? Cos I no understand.
ReplyDeleteCo operative villa residents have already teamed up and they have started fixing it. Failed Nation. And we have a government, a chairman for that local govt and even a councilor for that area. Shame on all of them. Somebody needs to convince me why i need to stay in Nigeria, if i have the opportunity to relocate abroad.
ReplyDeleteNna mehn
ReplyDeleteNigerian politricksters are wicked!
Beyond wicked. They are rogue and selfish
DeleteChai. 2hours to Addo road? That Ajah is so choked up. One bye-pass to many residents, I pity my Badore friends mehn.
ReplyDeleteHeading to the Refinery there are construction works on-going from Sangotedo to Lakwe, down to Eleko.
Maybe they'll come over because election period is near.
There is massive repairs up to Mayfair Gardens Estate down to Adeba.
Lagos traffic is doubling these days. Na only Epe expressway free for that Lekki axis. I never still reach premises this morning. Wetin be my own?
Well. Gov Ambode take note.
God bless your efforts.
I've noticed that during rainy season, traffic na times 10.
DeleteNa bad roads cause am.
##Wideeyes##
DeleteHaaaaa!!!!

Happy weekend.
maybe if macron come back abode will remember
ReplyDeleteHahahaha But macron didn't reach ajah axis nau .
ReplyDeleteThat Ajah/addo road is known for traffic. Poster sorry
That road traffic is terrible, we spent more than 2 hours from Ado road
ReplyDeleteThe very first picture is Akins bus stop, the road is so bad,it becomes worse after raining, there's this former boxer that normally fix the place daily, but the little he does is not just enough,we spent hours from chevron😎😎😎😎😎
ReplyDeletePoster God bless u for putting diz up, the traffic from ajah to Addo is jus something else.. Stella please appeal to gov. Ambode to help fix that road if not I fear wat will happen next bcoz someone can suffocate and die on that road because of traffic..I moved into that axis last year it hasn't been easy the fear of paying agent and agreement fee here in Lagos is the beginning of wisdom if not God knows I would have left..

ReplyDeleteI remember this time last year, Oba Akran Road was practically divided into two. There was a very big gully right in the middle of the road.
ReplyDeleteYes ooo... Same Oba Akran at Ikeja.
The road was fixed a week to the unveiling of statues.
Lagos Roads are now very bad..
Very very bad intact...
Building bridges when the roads are bad is not a solution.
Even if Julius Berger comes to fix that road, just give it 1 week it will go back to being as it is now because those Bread sellers will damage it again so cars will slow down to buy their goods.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the other side of the road not bad?
It is a deliberate thing. They Damage the road so cars slow down to buy their bread.
The Local government have to prohibit sales in that area before fixing 4hw road.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
DeleteHmmmm. Gov Ambode hope you're reading.
DeleteArrest some scape goats on that spot as they dig. The rest will take cover.
I live around that axis:Badore, most times especially rainy seasons the traffic jam is a standstill for all. Sometimes, one can waste 4 hours or more on that road especially if you are driving your car.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture posted-Hakins is the root cause of the issue. Drainages are blocked there, big potholes too. This country is too difficult...
Please oo Madam Stella. I see they have started fixing this Addo road. But unfortunately, this is not the solution. How can a whole area like this with a multitude of people have only one road in and out? Its not right. It is unsafe. If I built a 1000 capacity event center with only one entry and exit, will Lagos state govt approve? How can they expect tens of thousands of people in Addo, Langbasa, Owode and Badore to be using just the one road.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it just be me like make i construct flyover from Amity Estate side for Sango go meet Badore Town. Those residents spend their day in traffic.
DeleteIt is well.
They did some work there this afternoon it's a lot better now
ReplyDeleteThere was hold up this afternoon as they where working on the bad sports, we had to take one way.
ReplyDeleteSo sad.The traffic on this road can make someone depressed. The past one week has been really bad.
ReplyDeleteLAGOS govt who u epp?
ReplyDeletethis road is catastrophic...Ambode and the local govt. Chairman should be ashamed...you must do something now.
