So, I've got a number of people that collect things. My ex boyfriend used to collect wines (he claims it will be worth millions for his grand kids 😂), my sister collects perfumes (the small test bottles), my friend collects wristwatches Etc.. .
ReplyDeleteSo, in my humility I also decided to start collecting something 😭😭😭. Since I ddnt have their kind of money and swag, I settled for currency. So anywhere I or my family visited, I will keep their least paper currency. It felt great 😊.
So, was gisting a friend bout my progress who in turn said "oh it's true, I've got some dollars,let me give you 😂😂😂"... I ddnt want to be greedy so took just 100....dollar Bill (pls, take note of the dot 😂😂😂).
I couldn't keep calm, already thinking of how to change it and spend it. Who wants to keep 100....dollars when I have needs. I quickly adjusted on the bed to calculate my newly acquired wealth so I assign it to my pending issues 😭😭😭...
Ladies and gentlemen, it was with great pain in my heart I typed In 100 Jamaican dollars only to see it's 270.97 Naira...😭😭😭. I kid you now, 270 NAIRA only.
I still havnt gotten over the pain. You mean I said all that thank you for 300naira?
The money still lies in my wallet were it was first kept. I have been to weak and angry to put it in my collection 😂😭😂😭😂 .

There is a lady who has 3 kids already ooo and they stay in a room, the children looks unkempt most times and the next thing I saw was another pregnancy and she said she wants to use it to punish her husband who keeps spending money outside instead of his family, that it is because he doesn't have enough responsibility that's why he is spending outside. ReplyDeleteWell Well Well,one thing i can categorically state about these 2 tribes i.e IGBO and YORUBA even though we tend to deny it,the simple truth is that these 2 tribes in certain ways do not just mix,they might mix well with other tribes but not with themselves except in a few instances.
Even though the igbos and yorubas laugh& chat all the time with each other,the truth is they know where to draw the curtain so as to avoid many things but with other tribes they might go even deep and say lots of things but with themselves, they are super careful.
I don't know how to describe it but there is just this thing btw these 2 tribes that just does not mix.
Most igbos parents would prefer their children getting married to other tribes than Yoruba and same with the yorubas.

ReplyDeleteThe way some public servants behave at their job shows that we cannot say the people of the country are working towards its progress. In fact,some people are in government job to ruin it for selfish reasons. Some have turned themselves to tyrants in their position maltreating people.
Ordinary courtesy for customers they don't have, they will do their job grudgingly and call everybody Mr. Man.
I was at a public institution recently, and the workers, who I thought would demonstrate some level of professionalism due to their high training,kept customers waiting and sat in their office watching and arguing about something on TV.
How will government prosper with people that laze around?
I recommend strict supervision in the public service. Workers should account for their individual responsibility in the service - how many people they are able to attend to during work hours and the results and feedback.
We have to hold each other responsible if we want progress,the people and the government.

DeleteNot all public workers. I used to work in a Govt Parastatal before I left to chase my dream 😁 and I can tell You, we had the most hard-working staff. Always eager to help outsiders on our line of duty. You see us working like we are paid beyond what we were paid.

DeleteThey are many here in my neighbourhood and it's mostly common with people from that tribe. They have kids every other year and they struggle to train them, if they manage to finish secondary school, they will send the boys to go and do apprentice, some of them will turn to kidnapper and armed robbers an they leave the apprenticeship, the girls na house help or ashawo they will go and do in another city.
They are many. One of them, she has three kids and now pregnant with the fourth child, the last one is just a few months old, she sells small things in front of the compound, husband is a truck driver. The man is in his early forties but if you see him, he looks like 60yrs old man. Too much stress and hustling have finished him. Looks like someone that will die soon. The other day, landlord came to shout on them that their house rent have expired since December and they have not renewed it, light bill nko? They are always owing. The kids attend free school as one of their relatives own a school but to buy books na wahala. They will buy a few exercise books. No textbooks. This is how the children wear old and torn clothes all over the place.
Another one lives in an incomplete building. No toilet, no bathroom, just one room that they patched up on their property. They have 5 kids, wife is heavily pregnant again with the sixth one, wife's younger brother is living with them too in that one room. Husband is an okada rider, wife sells soup ingredients in front of their property. I look at this woman and shake my head. She always looks so tired and sick even before getting pregnant. Children too will be walking bare footed all over the place. I wonder how they even gbensh in that one room.
I don't pity them, I only pity the poor kids, they did not ask to be brought into suffering.
Before you call me jealous, I'm married and I have two kids, a boy and a girl. I don't have fertility issues, we agreed to have two.

So I will advise every woman both married and single to take it once in a while, may be twice in a year. But for the TTC women I am not sure that it will be good for you people. It is more like Udah. (I don't know the English name) And I am using Udah as a contraceptive now and it is working for me for more than two years now, so if Aju Mbaise is like Udah it means that it's not good for a TTC woman. Again, if you are ttcing and milk is coming out from your breast please and please go and treat it. That is make sure that the milk is not coming out from your breast again. Then they post screen shots of conversations they initiate between their first and second phones, hyping their products to deceive people. I call bs when I see it.

DeleteThey will help you type your CV in Microsoft Word the way you have it in the hard copy, if you don't have it they will print it out for you. Then you will open your email and and you will compose a mail on a computer there and they will attach that CV that is in Microsoft word to your email and you will send to the company with a short application letter.
Next time, when you want to send a mail that requires your CV, you will just go to that your email with your phone,go to 'sent items' and download the CV you sent to that company before. It would now be on your phone and then you can be attaching it to any mail you want to send. If you have Microsoft Word on your phone, you can open it and edit your CV anytime you want to edit it. Hope this helps.

The year he died his wife was even pregnant with another child. No family planning nothing. When he died he left us with problems. After the burial a family meeting was called and my big aunties each took a child with them to train in school my uncle wife was left with only the newborn baby but even at that she can't take care of the newborn baby. She will just be calling and begging for money! I did what I can but I pity my other uncle in Hanover,Germany since that one died he has been the one sending money to her regularly and when I spoke to him on phone he is already getting tired and fed up with everything! Please people should plan to have kids! I have 2 kids and I am okay! We should plan our lives, there is condoms and family planning devices to choose from. My husband is even considering having a vasectomy that is tying the cords of the testis!
