Ooni gave the advice when the Minister of Interior, retired Gen. Abdulraman Dambazau, paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Ile-Ife on Monday.
“God is not happy the way Boko Haram and herdsmen are killing innocent people in Northern part of the country,” NAN quoted him as saying.
According to the monarch, the blood of the innocent ones will surely call for vengeance as at when due.
“And any nation that is fond of shedding blood of his citizens always invites the wrath of God upon the country.
“How can some people take it upon themselves as a matter of duty in slaughtering human being as if they are killing dogs to make sacrifice unto “Ogun” the god of iron,” Oni queried.
The royal father canvassed for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, saying Nigeria would survive the current security challenge only if the people maintain peace with one another irrespective of religion or ethnicity.

Sometimes it feels God has completely turned his back against is. I wonder why he is ignoring so much.
ReplyDeleteNigeria has become a scary place to live in. I never thought I will want to relocate.
I pray God remembers us and save us cos this is scary and crazy!
God won't come down from heaven to fight your battle for you. We are our own problem.
DeleteGreed, selfishness, lack of unity, boldness, laziness and nonchalant attitude is our problems. Get up to your red see and see if God won't part it for you.
I know the response I get each time a make a post about Nigeria and our future.
Untill we reason as a people and face our problems, NITHNOT will happen!!!
HOW CAN AN OCCULTIC PERSON ALWAYS WEARING WHITE BE TALKING ABOUT GOD? IS GOD HAPPY WITH HIM
DeleteIt is for sacrifice. Power bank is empty.
ReplyDeletePowers must stay powerful
Instead of them to talk to the president, and press upon him to call his herdsmen to order, every one is just talking, no action. Is he not a royal father. Shame on all people who are occupying any public post in Nigeria at this time. Just Saturday, some soldiers were killed in Yobe while on duty, a former commissioner killed on Abuja road, Kilode? Do something instead of analysis.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't know God is angry with Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteWhich of his gods is angry? I knew it gotta be ogun Lmao
ReplyDeleteLol please I don't believe these things again..Why isn't God angry with America or Britain! Do you know the amount of people who have died as a result of British and American forces? Look at Iraq. Infact after everything the white man did to us during slavery and colonial times, their counties are still successful and thriving. You know how many European countries built on the blood and sweat of Africans? Check king Leopold.
ReplyDeleteNigeria is suffering because of Nigerians. We don't put our country first. We only think about ourselves. Every great country you see today was built by the selfless. They wanted their countries to move forward (even tho they had nothing to benefit from it at that moment).
We are responsible for our own problems!
All I wanna say is I admire those who write with the left hand and the Ooni is one.
