ORIENTATION...... AN INSTRUMENT FOR CHANGE.
Few days ago after the reported news of the crisis that engulfed the northern part of the country that left so many dead, I engaged a friend of mine who is a Christian, a graduate and from the northerner part of Nigeria into some discussion.
As we discussed, I came to the knowledge of the many problems facing this country has to do with orientation.
I asked him this question. As a northerner would you involve in an action capable of destroying lives and property as a retaliatory measure? Without hesitation, he said NO. I asked why?
His response were "I was born and brought up to value human lives and never to take any. Been in the university for four years, I learnt so many things that reformed my understanding and perception to life issues. I came to meet people with diverse culture and beliefs that I respected so much, and the faith I have as a christian teaches tolerance." Isn't this amazing?
Education with proper orientation has a vital role to play in curbing this menace going on in this country. No graduate that is gainfully employed will result to arm militia, militancy, kidnapping, robbery, thugerry or even wanton killings of people.
Do you know why a section of people in certain tribe are impoverished? This is because the few political elites in that tribe don't want them to be educated as to compete with them. They turned them into slaves and thugs for electoral purposes, and keep using them all round for their self serving interest. Bad enough their own kids are often in the diasporal studying. This youth are been instigated to cause crisis and kill other people opposing their ideology consequently on the wrongful indoctrination they had received.
Make no mistake about this, any country that toy with the education of the youth invariably has already planned to ruin the future. This old political elites do this as to keep recycling themselves since they have succeeded in enslaving their youth into irresponsibility. This youth are the ones you see today killing with inpunity. They are the ones constituting communal crisis and ethnic war.
No nation can develop without her youth and quality education given to them. Enough of all this ethnic sentiment, tribal conflicts, religion supremacy and favoritism. Our education system should be strengthen for proper dissemination of knowledge and good orientation towards nation building.
Our Reverend, clergies, Imam, traditionalist and politicians should breed good relationship irrespective of the divide they find themselves and pass good orientation devoid of hate speech in educating the mind for a change and development of the society.

Please , kindly know this story is not to bring down any TTC woman , I pray God put a smile on the face of every woman looking for fruits of the womb.
So there is this very beautiful officer wife, she use to be a banker but had to leave her job because of delay in having kids.
So in the year 2016, she told her friend ( my neighbor) she was pregnant. I was so happy when I heard because she has been married for about 6 years. However, I notice she started avoiding everyone.
Did I say she was my opposite neighbour but for 9 months I didn't set my eyes on her. Whenever she sight anyone coming , she will just go back inside her house. Even in church, you will see her from afar, before you move close to say "hi" to her, she would have gone. Even house fellowship, she stopped coming.
My neighbor who happen to be her close friend said she is always laying down whenever she visit her . All this happened throughout the 9 months. After sometimes, she travelled to her state to deliver and kept her girl(help) with my neighbor so that the girl will finish her exams. Only for us to receive call that she delivered and lost the baby.
During the period her girl (help) was with my neighbor, my neighbor said the girl said her " aunty no get belle e be like say she wan go carry baby from (******) one of the south south state".
It was deduced that that the woman wanted to adopt and had to fake pregnancy so that people won't stigmatize her for adopting.
May God answer her prayers by giving her children in Jesus name.
Hmmmmm a lot of woman do this for fear of being looked down on.....i think its time we encourage women who cannot conceive to adopt kids to call their own,its not a crime please!

I agree with you except your 2nd paragraph. See may you never have a cause to TTC. Its emotionally draining. Adoption goes beyond having the money, you need to connect emotionally to that child. Adoption is one of the bravest things to do. So many things must be in place otherwise you will just suffer the child unknowingly. So please correct that notion you have,its not easy.

DeleteI listened to the radio this morning. The presenter narrated what happened last night at an ATM machine outlet in my town. I met the programme halfway but got the gist through phone calls made from people on the programme.A supposed nursing mother and a man were seen discussing. According to her, the man asked where he can see a house to rent around.
ReplyDeleteThey obviously got familiarized with each other. One thing led to the other and the woman handed over her baby to the man. Both the baby and the man disappeared ( not that he ran away o, he just did the Africa magic thing and vanished). People scattered and the woman almost ran mad.
Media houses got the gist and the presenter promised to get to the root of the matter. I believe the presenter because most of them have their own juju.
