WOW....
So I gave birth two weeks ago to adorable baby boy I knew he was a boy from conception and didn't even bother to check the sex. (Thanks to the holy spirit)
So my water broke by 4am that morning I didn't feel any pain or anything so I slept till day break.....
I wasn't even in the mood to go to the hospital lol so after lazying about and packing my things i got to the hospital by 4pm.. meanwhile I was bent on taking a maternity photo shoot(I didn't have one and this was my first pregnancy) so I got to the hospital by 4pm dropped my bags and told them I'm coming that I want to get money at the ATM meanwhile they were shocked I wasn't feeling labour pains (super natural child birth things).
And off I went to take photos lol.... mean while I was leaking amniotic fluid lol..
I literally searched for an hour to find a place to take photos as circle mall didn't have a photo booth, I found a good photographer eventually in a slum in Jakande( trust me I'm not really going depth in the details of my search because it was funny for a woman in labour!) did my make up and finished the photo shoot by 7pm.. by then my dress was socked like I peed on myself no labour pains yet!
I eventually got to the hospital and the nurses were looking at me like I was crazy and the weren't sure I was in labour so the matron opted to check and much to her surprise she could feel the baby's head!
Still no pain!
Well I just chilled in the labour room chatting with baby daddy eating and stuff by the way I forgot to mention I was alone as baby daddy is outside the country so I had no support system or whatever but God turned up..
By twelve midnight the doctor checked me and said In 3hours it will be a go so by exactly 3:30 he came and asked me to lie down on the operating table or whatever ;he gave me a cut (cus my vee was so small didn't gbensh throughout my pregnancy, met baby daddy a virgin and I've probably gbenshed like 4 times in my life can't believe I didn't properly enjoy gbenshing before having a baby .....well story for another day)
I gave 3 pushes and the baby came out.
I'm kind of upset about the episiotomy because I feel it wasn't necessary and if the doctor had been patient the baby would have eventually come. Anyways in all I thank God for the miracle he knew I had no one so he stepped in and showed his mercy, I even did my omugwo myself lol women are super women and we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.
I didn't shed a tear through out and I would never shed a tear for this child attached are my pregnancy photos and photos of my angel.
*WOW WOW WOW and Hmmmmmmmmmmm....
Your baby is 'halfcaste' and dooooooooooooo beautiful!!!!
How come you did Omugwo yourself?..na just two weeks you born nau..Omugwo lasts months...lol
I wish i could share your photos, the photos you took whilst in labour is too beautiful.....Cant believe you were a vee,you look soooo ''fly''.
Thank you for sharing your story with us.
So beautiful ... supernatural birth things...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations madam.
ReplyDeletePls to other pregnant women reading this, do not try this. Once your water breaks, find yourself straight to the hospital as baby now feels trapped without the water to "swim around in". Google, midwives, ante natal are your friends.
ReplyDeleteThis is a one off.
Poster congratulations to you, thank God for a stress free delivery.
Thank you for this. She put the baby’s well-being at risk by doing what she did. Congrats to her anyway.
DeleteExactly what i wanted to say. The cord could have prolapsed and she wouldnt even know. Once your water breaks abeg waka go hospital to avoid infections and stories that touch abeg.
Deletewow that's really sweet, i enjoyed reading your story. God bless you for sharing
ReplyDeleteU just made labour looks beautiful and funny.. Congrats dear
ReplyDeleteNigerians . Smh. Poster, you prefer your veejay to tear in four places up to your cl!t before you agree that a clean cut is better.
ReplyDeleteNa u use ur mouth say u tight.
Dey come give u cut, u no want .
Smh
Go and make peace with your family if u have.
U sound troubled
Congratulations der
ReplyDeleteWhat about when they where stiching you up after the cut? Did you feel any pain? Pls come back n tell me.I have been having sleepless night over the cut on the vjay during birth n the process of stitching it back.
ReplyDeleteI am not the poster, but usually an injection is given at the point of incision, to numb the area, so you don't feel the pain of the stitching. It's after the injection wears off that you can feel the pain down there. However you are also given say paracetamol to manage the pain. Overtime, it gets better.
DeleteI didn't feel pain while being stitched back cos the place was numbed. Some hospitals don't do this so make enquires before the d day. Nb I am not the poster
DeleteI was cut too and felt a bit of pain(was injected too)but d pain won't hit you had cos there's nothing as painful as the labour pain u just went through!!
DeleteLucky u madam@poster,I want to be like u the next time...lol
I SCREAM the whole hospital down towards d last 3hrs of labour
Fantastic with unnecessary risks.
ReplyDelete* if they had "waited" the baby would have come out without them giving u a cut....
My dear, during delivery, every minute counts.
Make ur ITK no land u for trouble sha.
Congrats! Congrats! Wow! Wish I could type what I have in mind. We must be twins! Supernatural birth is real, now my faith is strengthened.
ReplyDeleteCongrats again, babe!
Congrats i also tap into this stress free, sharp sharp delivery.thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank God for your life and that of your baby.
ReplyDeleteI will advice expectant mothers to visit the hospital immediately their water breaks, this poster was lucky. some women aint this lucky. I know a lady that lost her child because she refused to go to the hospital after her water broke! She was waiting to feel labor pain.
No mind dem. We like to play .
DeleteThe only thing we take seei ous uhh n this life is religion.
Congratulations
ReplyDeleteStrong woman, God bless you and your bundle of joy, amen.
ReplyDeletecongratulations. God be with you
ReplyDeleteCongrats ma'am. Pregnant women, please and please if your water breaks at any point in time kindly run to the hospital. That it worked for posted doesn't mean it will work for you. It worked for me but didn't work for a friend of mine. My water broke on a Friday evening and I didn't go to the hospital till Sunday afternoon cos I was waiting to feel Labour pain first, thankfully I had a safe delivery. Meanwhile my friend waited for less than 8hours after her water broke and she lost the baby, doctors said the child was ditressed. Forgive typos if you find any.... i dont understand my keyboard this days
ReplyDeleteC section is it for me. I won't allow anyone cut my vjay.
ReplyDeleteMadam don't try this next time. Stop feeling like a super woman.
Make I ask,are you married to baby daddy? Don't you have family?
Wow! Poster what an interesting read. Photoshoot even after water had broken....
ReplyDeleteGlad it all worked out for you.
You should have included a disclaimer
Women please, when it comes to pregnancy and childbirth, err on the side of caution.
Wow your labor was stress free. I tap from your supernatural birth. Congratulations to you on the arrival of your little cutie
ReplyDeleteThank God for your supernAtuRal birth. May it be same for all expectant mothers.
ReplyDeleteYour labour story is just like my second delivery, oga also left when I was just 2 months in pregnancy... Very stress free delivery and she is also half cast too will be 7 on 12th of this month, so I believe your story very well.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Poster, God bless your little One but what you did was dangerous. You could have contracted an infection that could have been fatal for your baby. Pls pregnant women should head straight to the hospital once your water breaks to avoid complications.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. You took some risk that were unnecessary but ThankGod it ended in praise.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow will bring something new, so leave today as a memory. www.vibescraft.com
