Former Super Eagles Player Wilson Oruma Says His Family Members Were Amongst Those Who Duped Him Of N2billion

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Wilson Oruma, has finally narrated his ordeal in the hands of fraudsters, who fleeced him of N2billion.

The scammers, the ex-players recalled, had claimed to be in possession of some oil blocs they wanted to sell.

The unsuspecting two-time African Nations Cup player then pumped his savings into a business that never saw the light of the day.

He lamented that even his family members took part in the fraud which at some point affected his mental health.

Oruma told The Guardian: “It is true that I lost all my savings to some people, who turned out to be fraudsters. I have read several stories in the media since then. Those stories did not emanate from me. They quoted different amount, which is not correct. I lost close to N2 billion.

“The most painful aspect of it all was the fact that some of my relations were involved in the deal. You can imagine losing such huge amount of money to people you trusted. I pray for them to have a human heart and return my money, even if it is part of it. That is my prayer every day, and I know that one day, the hand of God will torch their hearts.”

  5. Wow! This is so sad. But im sure juju must have joined. As in they used jazz to take control of his mind so he will fall prey to the scam. How can anybody in his right sense think oil blocs are being sold...y would the owner of an oil bloc sell it when its fetching him billions?
That's why i feel jazz was involved. T hey manipulated him spiritually to fall victim to their scam.
we should always pray to God fo cancel every plans of the enemies to make us lose all we have worked for.

    1. My dear apart from jazz some people are not so smart. They unfortunately will not also surround themselves with smart people too. Imagine if he had a personal lawyer and maybe a good management team, they would have questioned him when he wanted to give out such amount and then stopped the fraud. Its so sad. See him expecting a return of some of the money. Enemies from within

  12. It's written in the BIBLE

    Mattew 10:36

    Micah 7:6

A man's enemy are the members of his household.

It's very painful to be stabbed in the back by someone so close to you.

May God restore all that he has lost a trillion fold in Jesus name, Amen.

  13. Stella, WILSON DID NOT GRANT THIS INTERVIEW.

THE PERSON BEHIND THIS MALIGNING OF FAMILY NAME KNOWS HIMSELF.
HE IS LUCKY THE GATE HE IS DEALING WITH IS FILLED WITH PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY FEAR GOD.

YOU SUCCEEDED IN MAKING HIM SEE HIS FAMILY AS HIS ENEMIES BUT WHEN THE CHIPS WERE DOWN, YOU SUDDENLY LOST YOUR WAY AND SAME FAMILY WERE THE ONES WHO BORE THE WHOLE BURDEN.
NOT EVEN A PENNY WAS TAKEN FROM OUTSIDERS CONTRARY TO THE CLAIMS BY HUNGRY SCAMMERS PREYING ON WILSON'S CHALLENGE JUST TO SCAM THE UNSUSPECTING PUBLIC.

THIS THING IS PAINING MY HEART BECAUSE THIS ENEMEY WHO CALLS HIMSELF WILSON'S FRIEND IS THE CHIEF DESTROYER.
AFTER CONNIVING WITH ALL THE PROPHETS IN LAGOS TO LICK THE REMAINING MONEY, HE STILL HAS MOUTH TO FORGE STORIES.

SHEBI YOU HAVE A WIFE AND CHILDREN, GOT YOURSELF A DUPLEX AND CARS VIA YOUR SCAM (WHICH YOU'RE USING WILSON'S FAMILY TO TAKE ATTENTION AWAY FROM YOU), WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE THE FAMILY WJO DID NOTHING BUT PRAY AND EXTEND HANDS OF FELLOWSHIP TO THEIR BROTHER?

    JUDGEMENTS IS COMING.

    GOSH, I'M PISSED.

  14. Very sad story. If you're successful, be very wary of the company you keep. Nigerians have a culture of unnecessary envy and detest of success of people 'they used to know'.
Most of all, put God first and stay prayerful so that no matter how hard they try, they will fail. Just tragic that trusted family members did this to him.

"It was also learnt that with his unstable mind, he gave out one of his expensive SUVs worth N14million to a friend who speedily drove away the vehicle."... imagine

What humans can do for money eh, Lord have mercy on us all.
