DSS Ejects New NFF President Chris Giwa On Orders From 'Above'

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have ejected Chris Giwa from the secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

FIFA, football governing body, had threatened to ban Nigeria if the situation was not resolved and Amaju Pinnick not reinstated as NFF president.

The DSS operatives, who carried out the ejection exercise on Monday, said they were working on instructions from above.

A few hours after the exercise, Muhammed Sanusi, secretary-general of the NFF, was led to his office by the DSS operatives.

Sanusi has since resumed his duties as head of the football federation secretariat in Nigeria.

The president’s office was also cleared in readiness for the resumption of Pinnick who will return to Nigeria on Tuesday.

    1. Picnick is doing a fantastic job, first time the eagles qualified for a world cup with a game to spare, no grumbling about players allowances, team jersey sorted on time and become a thing the whole world wanna identify with. Abeg kudos to Picnick led NFF

    2. @Eka

Na so ya mumu for football matter reach?
FIFA competitions is what you have to attend as a football playing country
Court of arbitration under fifa had ruled Amaju as the president of nff
anything beyond that, fifa will ban you from every football competition
It is not a matter of "doing well or not". It is entirely fifa's business

    3. Pinnick his doing the best job u can think of, Giwa is just trying too hard to get to that office. He already lost in FIFA arbitrary court and he also lost in the election conducted. if FIFA bans Nigeria from international games, citizens will not forgive Giwa.
