According to him, voting next year would be tantamount to supporting the same crop of politicians to continue to remain in power at the expense of the youths.
He wrote on his Instagram page yesterday: “He (Macron) was six years old when Buhari was Nigerian Head of State in 1983. Now, Emmanuel Macron is President of France. Buhari is Nigerian President.
“If this doesn’t explain it all, I don’t know want can.
“I will not be voting (in 2019) and see no reason why me or any Nigerian youth should.
“If you think your votes mean anything or that you can implement change by voting for he same people, you are delusional and you’re part of the problem.
“We are hopeless youths who are too scared to fight for our future. Therefore, we unconsciously accept to have no future. Just recycle the past over and over while praying and talking so much.
“They (old leaders) will continue to mess with us unless we tame them.”

Spot onππ½ Buh what is he contributing as a youth to help us move forward? It’s not just to type on social media and expect change. Did he go out to protest? People just sit in the comfort of their homes and post shit on social media and expect people to react and take action. As you post of SM, ensure to match words with action then people will know you are serious and then feel motivated to join you in the struggle.

So when you don't vote how will the country move forward. People were agreeing with him yesterday and I found it disgusting. Like this dude can decide not to vote and when the situation of the country worsens, he can easily jet out to some other country and so what happens to the poor man that can't jet out too? The election is still far and we've started with the negative vibes again. Y'all will scream the votes won't count and will come on s/m or any blog insulting whatever government you let rule the country.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't vote...fine. Just don't complain if Buhari or Atiku wins again. Cause all we know how to do in Nigeria is complain...the chance to do something right we start using negative vibes to spoil it.
How can someone say he won't vote and sees it as a good thing? If you don't vote them out, who will? If everyone protects the result that comes from their polling unit, how won't our votes count? The problem we have is that after voting, we go home. We are not there for the final collation of results. If you vote, remain there and keep playing with your phone so that everyone will be aware that you were doing so. By the time you video the electoral officer announcing results, nobody will notice you. If the results from your unit changes, you can anonymously drop the video at the opposition's office. E no hard na. It's sad when people support stupidity
