    1. I still cook mine in baking tins with a lid. It is easy and safe. I hate the leaf method because you can’t store it properly. I like to cook plenty and store for weeks.

    3. You can prepare your own bean flour..type of beans I prefer is butter beans or honey beans depends what its called in your location. Its usually white/lightly brown in color. The black eyes is usually almost nonexistent. Just pick the dirt from the beans and ground to flour. Its what i use now & its comes out looking like i washed the beans.

    1. Anonymous 10:03 Congratulations you survived and are now doing well. However, you have entitlement mentality. It is people like you that are corrupt but shout Nigeria is corrupt the most. Why will you deliberately leave some moimoin in the can? That is cheating and stealing from paying customers. And you have the temerity to call those who demand full moimoin wicked? Now that you have two shops how will you feel if people buy from you and refuse to pay in full? Do you know what you were doing by selling incomplete moimoin could have driven some customers away? They will say - that place, they never sell complete moimoin. They may not complaint to your madam, but word of mouth can ruin food business. The madam of the food biz was sorry for you and employed you and you repay her by almost ruining her biz?? You were the wicked one. Change your ways.(That Isoko babe) Stella Mavor?

    3. well done you. Try doing a dioloma in a polytecnic instead. You would not be able to get a job via uni. diploma. It is to upgrade those who already in the civil or public service

  12. Moimoi in Tin reminds one of the good old days. The quality of Tins have reduced now and as such not durable again. Moimoi with leaf is best for taste and flavour though.

  13. I remember those days. I don't enjoy washing the cans after eating so what I did was to start throwing them away until we have none left.

  15. I do but washing the cans were something else. As I grew older I became the moin moin cook in the house because I hated beans. Still don't like it. I use nylons instead though they say it's not healthy. I'm having noodles with fried eggs no strength to cook.

    1. Please use the native Elewe or Uma leaves it is more nutritious and hygienic.

Else you use disposable cups and pad the pots wella before setting cups.
The styrofoam in them is less compared to plastic cups.
      Diseases abound. Shine your eyes.
