Ajah Axis Road They Forgot To Fix When President Macron Visited Has Been Fixed

WOW....I am so impressed with the swift response of team Ambode!

We reported four days ago that they forgot to fix the Addo/Ajah road when President Macron of France visited and they have fixed it.
Please note that before we did this report, the road had been so for a long time and a BV had sent in a report that her Dad who was being rushed to the ER died in traffic on that road.....

The Blog visitor who live around this Axis sent this in.....

''Good day Madam Stella.
See the repair work that has been done on the Ajah - Ado Road you reported 3 days ago. All pot holes have been filled and graded. I also noticed coal tar was also put to smoothen it.
Good work on your report and also let's commend the repair work.
It's not only when things are bad we should shout, let's acknowledge the swift response''.

PLEASE DON'T BE DECEIVE NOT EVERYWHERE HAS BEEN FIX ON THE AJAH, ADDO BADORE ROAD, THEY USE SAND/GRANITE TO FILL SOME PART AND WITH JUST THREE DAYS RAIN IT'S WILL WASH OFF AND TRAFFIC WILL START AGAIN.
THERE IS A HUGE CORRUPTION GOING ON EVEN THE STREET LIGHT MOST OF THEM ARE NOT WORKING AND THEY PUT THEM ON WHENEVER THEY FILL LIKE AND THEY WILL PUT SOME PART ON TODAY AND THERE WILL BE NO LIGHT ON TILL ANOTHER THREE DAYS’ TIME SOME PART WILL BE PUT ON AGAIN AND SOMEONE IS COLLECT MONEY FROM GOVERNMENT FOR DIESEL FOR EVERYDAY SERVICES WHEN THE SERVICES IS NOT DONE EVERY DAY.
I CALL ON THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT TO LOOK INTO IT BY SENDING OFFICIALS TO VERIFY MY CLAIM ON THE ROAD AND THE STREET LIGHT. I WILL TRY AND GET YOU PICTURES AND VIDEO TO PROVE MY CLAIMS TO YOU LINDA. I PASS THROUGH THE ROAD THIS MORNING

    2. You are very correct on this. The Thomas entrance on Addo road is still very bad. And I heard it is some well to do residents in the area that fixed the road temporarily so as to reduce the traffic since it's affecting them badly. The Government had nothing to do with the repair work. Also the government still needs to do proper rehabilitation especially with clearing the drainage and channeling it properly. The temporary work will not last so long and we are still calling on the government. They should find a permanent solution and also proper way of maintenance afterwards.

I'm sure if you go and read comments on the original post, you'd see where people commented that cooperative villa et all were working towards fixing the road.

How will Cooperative villa resident repair Ado Road when feont of their Estate is Bad?

Let's thank God the road has been patched up, it normally takes about an hour to drive through those bad spots but yesterday I drive through in 2 minutes.
Let's not forget the activities of those Bread sellers O! They are really the ones that damage these roads to halt traffic to they will enjoy patronage.

  12. Lagos state government should please look into the tarred Ilaje- Ajah road. The road was tarred with interlocking. However the flood on that road is something else.
Resident suggest that the stagnant water which gets as high up the waist on individuals be sucked up weekly to ensure its ease of access by commuters.
Ambode, we plead. You have been trying. We commend you sir.

  16. Good work but where is the good gutter for the water to flow well when it rains. We need good water flow and also stop open gutters in Nigeria. Why can't we cover gutters for crying out loud. They are so disgusting

Addo roundabout, the turning on pump and sell and Thomas entrance on Addo road are still very bad. Also the government still needs to do proper rehabilitation especially with clearing the drainage and channeling it properly. The temporary work will not last so long and we are still calling on the government. They should find a permanent solution and also proper way of maintenance afterwards as early stated by an Anonymous.
