You know some people correct by ridiculing you or bullying you which is very bad and wrong. I think I have improved if you watch closely unlike when I started initially. I am a simple person that takes correction and don't feel ashamed or annoyed when corrected. I would have gone into silence or even ran away with the constant bashing I got here because of my writing but I still held unto that assurance that I will get better some day.
Trust me it will all be a thing of joy someday when I will sit back and remember all that ever happened in SDK blog.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many who preach forgiveness, but when I look closely at their lives, I see that there is still that one person whom they've vowed never to have anything to do with because they hurt them so much.
What is forgiveness? Forgiveness doesn't mean forgetting but means remembering without allowing their actions affect how you respond or relate with them.Whereby your actions are determine by what they did,it means you still hold grudges.That doesn't mean you go revealing your secrets to them,the Bible urges us to be wise as a serpent but as gentle as a dove.
I recall having an issue with a colleague years back, she was the one who offended me and I just went never will I relate with her,but then something happened that even up till date,I shiver when I think of it. The Holy spirit kept saying to me to apologize, I was like,but she is the one who should apologize.I went to church that Sunday,as if my pastor knew,He preached on Forgiveness, He said let it not be that you will go to hell just because of refusing to greet that man or woman. The next Sunday, said I was going to another church,got to the church, time for preaching, the Pastor said His topic was 'Forgiveness'. I said within me, what kind of wahala is this.
Eventually, I had to do the needful, the first to break the cycle. That day I understood when God said 'follow peace with all men and Holiness without which no man will see the lord'. I realized that the standard God requires from us as Christians is high,as the light of the world that we are.
I Corinthian 13 says even if I give all I have and speak with the tongue of Angels and have not love,i am nothing.....love bears all things....endures all things...'
Another chapter says 'Love covers a multitude of sin'.
Some people will say I love him but can't bring myself to forgive him,that isn't love.
I know of a woman who went, knelt down to beg her sister-in-law not because she had offended her, instead the sis- in-law is the one who hated her for no reason but because she wanted peace, she went to her and begged her to forgive her if she had offended her in one way or another. The sister-in-law was shocked. Now that woman is an example of a mature Christian.
What I am trying to say is that the standard God requires from us as His children is very high,Christianity ain't bread and butter as some pastors make it seem,the life of Christ isn't that easy to imitate,you must be ready to do away with anything 'self' which is often the main problem.
Have seen some individuals say ' me I will never talk to her until she apologize or me go and beg her tufiakwa'. And these are people who claim Christ like but no knowledge of whom Christ really is.
Sometimes, I really wonder how many people will make this Heaven,may God helps us all. I believe His Grace is sufficient.

Truth is that you forgive and move on and when you remember the incident it doesn't make you feel bad or hate anymore towards that person. Anyone who says he no longer remember a past hurt experience has a brain cell that is damaged and not functioning properly.

DeleteMy husband works in a private hospital for 150,000 Naira. He's a resident doctor, he's on call 24/7. His boss told him last week that he will be reducing his salary to 80k. Told him to think about it. Well, my hubby went back to him and said he's not gonna accept 80k. His boss told him no worries, that he should leave immediately, he wants to go look for a doctor that will accept 80k. Wow! SMH! That's not even up to 200 pounds in a month. Please we should take into consideration those we left at home with the thought of coming back to be with them at the end of the day business that they really need us to stay alive for them.
Avoid reckless driving and over speed. If you must drink don't drive and if you wish to drive don't drink.
Fix any known fault in your vehicles and always check on your tyres and pedals. Don't rely on prayers as a guaranteed for safety.
Obey traffic signs and always watch clearly if you must overtake a slow movement of car in front of you.
Reduce the volume of music in your car when driving so you can notice any ugly sound should in case it happens. Always stay safe for life is so sacred you can't afford to destroyed.

DeleteLettings kids out of ones side isn't easy the first time but gets better. The first time my first son went to a play date, he was just 2yrs old I was so happy he was leaving the house as I wanted peace and the house alone with hubby. I just wanted to rest from chasing him up and down. When he finally left, I was telling my self I feel fine but I wasn't. I was trying to hard to be strong. I called in at night and they said he cried to sleep after he was done playing and I wasn't there to tuck him in to sleep. I cried that night but I was putting up a strong face for hubby. By the next morning, I asked hubby to go and bring my son. He was like ah ah, he is supposed to be there for 5 days. I said I can't take it again. Hubby begged me to be strong and we should allow him mingle with other kids as the kids were Alot there. But by the third day, around 4am,i told my husband to go bring my son back or face my wahala. If you know me, you would rather do what I say than face my wahala🤣🤣😂. That was how the man left the house around 5am and came back with my son by 7am. He was still sleeping.

But you see now, I'm now a pro. I look forward to their play dates. I even beg them to extend it. Like this long weekend , I'm hoping one of my sister inlaw organises something for the kids that will take them out of my house from Friday morning till Monday night🙄. And oh, I love them with the whole of my heart but I also love my time alone 🙄

A family I know lost their 2 years old son a day before yesterday. Cancer of the kidney they say. Ahh,this boy suffered before he died. He was in the teaching hospital here. The parents spent all they had and started borrowing, they did anything to keep their child alive. Yet he still died. I have never heard if cancer of the kidney,the poor little child was so energetic the few times I met him. I have been crying since I heard so I wonder how the parents are feeling. Its just too sad. I can imagine the JOHESU strike made his case worse. I'm not just happy at all. God have mercy on us all
