Professor Awonusi Segun of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who was recently accused of s#xual assault has finally spoken on the incident.

Olusegun, who was a former vice-chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in an interview with New Telegraph, disclosed that he was blackmailed as he did not partake in any shameful act. According to him, his mobile phone was stolen.

He said: “It is blackmail. The said pictures were taken about four years ago but sometimes ago, I received a message from a particular lady, saying she was in possession of my unclad photos and that I should pay her N400,000.

“The lady said if I did not pay the money, she would go public with the photos. I think this is what she had promised.”

    2. Hmmm
Mr.Oladeji: The man that travels to Ibadan every weekend with his one bad leg. I remember when he gave me an E. All my borrowed courses from Year 1-4 were from this department. He gave 2 other philosophy students E too. We confronted him and he brought out MY script cos I was in tears .He realised it was a B(he was surprised). Then,he didn't allow us do his test cos it clashed with one of our main courses. That was the only time I had a B in that department. The two guys confronted him and he responded with "se,e fe tu isu de isale koko ni?" That was the end of the guys stay at that department. It was later we got to know that he failed them because of a lady he was "chasing" and he felt one of the guys was dating the her. "Eniyan lo buru ju o" They ported to History fast fast.
