You are right Stella, my Reverened said on Sunday while he was preaching that someone came to him for counselling the other day, said he need 20,000(twenty thousand naira) to solve urgent problem or he will end his life. My Rev. Said he got angry, scolded him, told him to end it, if he feels that's the solution. He politely warned that no one should come to him with such threat again. Some people should fear God.

ReplyDeleteI had criticized my grandmother in the past for greeting too much. She was highly introverted- it's from her that I got my quiet nature, but my grandmother couldn't walk from our house to the mosque, which was the next building , without greeting a thousand people. And it was not just a hello and hi 🙋 greeting, it was those long deep questioning type- how is your family? How is work? How is this? How is that?
But I don't think we greet that way these days. I think we hardly greet at all, despite the numerous media we now have to stay in touch.
People are busy, people are running, and by doing these people lose.
We will now go to sokoto, to find what is in our sokoto, just because we don't greet. Help will be under our nose but we won't see it.
From simple greeting, people in the past maintained useful relationships. They know where Lagbaja worked, the house of the doctor in the neighborhood, and who to send your child to for useful referrals...
We've simply lost touch with reality. Except it's someone's birthday, or we are inviting them to a party or tell them to rest in peace sometimes, we don't greet.

Depression is real but many people now use that term when they are sad, downcast or when things are not going well at that moment. We all can't be happy everyday of the year. There are some days we will be at our low points. That doesn't mean that we are depressed. Let's mind how we use that word because it is a form of mental illness.

It is a must for our trial periods to pass. Joy comes in the morning. We need to take good care of ourselves ; physically and psychologically, so as to be in good health to enjoy the happy moments.

Of course, one way of handling it would be to start applying for jobs in his location ASAP once you're certain you'd join him. But, there are no guarantees you'd get one
Find out if your job has a branch in your to be husband's location, then you can send a mail to HR for your transfer, but then if there are no branches, start applying for a job now around his new location, send CVs out and back everything with prayer. If none comes out before you get married, just look for something small you can be doing until the white collar job comes. All the best dear.

She will at the right time. Some kids are fast and some are slow. My first son had his first tooth at 7 months. While my second had his at 4 months. In fact, when I have birth to my second , his gum looked like there was tooth already. Everyone kept saying his would come out fast. 4 months and gbam, the first 2 popped up.

ReplyDeleteI love God so much. Even though the devil this morning tried to fill my mind with negative thoughts I rebuked him and fought back with the word of God. I remember when I used to wake up and feel nothing but pain. Oh so many wasted years thinking about the past and the wrong I felt was done to me. Indeed time, God and many other things heal everything. Right now I'm not where I want to be but I thank God I'm not where I use to be. In the presence of setback and hardship I learned to pray and praise God the more because I know my breakthrough is nearer than I think. Is when God is about to bless you or when you get closer to God that the devil starts to fight you the more. But my faith is strong. I believe God put me on heart for a purpose and I will fulfill my destiny. I can't wait for this year Halleluja challenge to start and see God open new doors for me. This morning I feel so grateful for what I have and for where God is about to take me. His Word says that He plans to bless us abundantly above all we could think or ask for🙌. Glory be to God. It's never too late to follow your dreams, you just have to put your priorities in order. Sorry for the long epistle but my heart is full of happiness and praise. May God help us and protect us all. May we all have a productive day.

I was told not to worry about it that i'm fine but then why won't i worry about it when the pains i feel in my stomach is sometimes unbearable? Please house, what can be done to relieve pains caused from ovarian cyst and hepatic cyst?

Facing hardship/difficulties isn't the meaning of depression.
If that third mainland bridge story were to be true, that's what could be linked to depression.
Money don't suppress real depression. When you hear of celebrities who seems to have it all committing suicide, that's depression. It's one of devil's strongest weapon against humans, love yourself no matter what, see yourself as the best even at the toughest time.
