FRIEND'S FRIEND WAHALA

My friend in Lagos called persuading me to allow her friend to come and stay with me for two weeks because she's trying to get a ticketing job at the Airport. Deep down my heart I didn't want any stranger to come visiting because most of them posses annoying and unbearable behavior.

Well, I agreed to her request. I stay in a self contain apartment and I love my privacy. She arrived at the park and I went to pick her up knowing that she's in a strange land and may not know her way around.

I noticed her 'American accent' and didn't pay much attention to it. She stayed in the house for the first one week doing nothing and I was wondering if she has forgotten the reason she came.

Her attitude was off! She will stain the toilet with her poo and won't use the toilet brush to wash it off.
I asked her the the other day to help me out in the kitchen because I cook in bulk and stock in the freezer but she didn't say a word to me. She crossed her leg and was starring and the television.

The following day I cooked white rice only for me to wake up and discover that she threw away the leftover in the pot when I asked her why she said she doesn't eat left over rice and my head almost exploded but I stayed calm and didn't say a word.

She'll use my stuffs leave the house dirty after I have arranged and swept. Dressing the bed when she wakes up from sleep is not on her mind. She won't even wash the plate she used. She doesn't mind piling up plates for me to come back and wash.

I was praying for her to come and be going.
So the job didn't work out then she told me she was leaving oh my God I was so happy. I woke her up Around 5:30am to prepare early in order to avoid traffic lol no traffic in my area o! That's how she went with her wahala.

Sometimes I wonder why people posses such attitude.

ON CHILDREN BEING SUICIDAL

Hello Stella,
Am female, wife, mother, children/teens coach.
I am a teen/children coach and as a result have so many experiences with life issues.

A parent approached me on Tuesday, to relate an issue of concern. She had a home service job to deliver and on her way forgot something at home. According to her, ordinarily she could have gone without it but she had an urge to go back.

Before leaving the house, she made lunch and gave instructions to her children ages 5&7.

When she got home to pick up what she had forgotten, she heard noises in the kitchen. But on entering the house, met both children in the room. She enquired to know what was going on. The older was covering the mouth of the younger preventing him not to speak. But the younger was bent on speaking. Then he said the older had gone to the kitchen to get a knife to kill herself.

WHAT!!!
She was shocked. Ask the child about what the younger had said, she confirmed she truly wanted to kill herself.

Then she said, I asked her so if I didn't come back would you have killed yourself and she replied yes. She said that reply of "yes" still rings in her memory and I could feel her hurt while telling me this. She went on to narrate how she had to ask questions and speak with the child.

First my mind went to the devil at work. Then I thought of TV. But this parent is struggling and one to ensure a better life for her kids. They have a TV set but it isn't connected so they can't use it. (I know this, I wasn't told.)
Then I realise another challenge in my calling and I began to counsel.

Parenting is a personal spiritual assignment. Parents (available or Not Available)  should treat this task as utmost as this transcend paying fees, shelter and clothing but tending to the needs of the soul by instilling values and morals.
We should endeavour to maintain good relationship which opens up for communication between them and the child. We should also be vigilant to change in behavior and every other effective parenting qualities.

By the way, I'll be mentoring on handling bullying this weekend.

PREACHING ABOUT FORGIVENESS

So because i have enemies some of you have named for me, i should not preach about forgiveness?Did i tell anyone here that i have a perfect life?Am i not allowed to have fights and choose who my friends are?I saw a comment referring to me fighting BVS,Bloggers and my friends!..Like are you for real?

Fighting bvs?If we used to connect and we don't anymore,it simple means we are not friends ...simple!!!...I wasted time making friends with some people on this Blog and the gossip threw me off my feet and now that i decide to stay on my own,una no wan let me rest.....

Please stop coming here to count the hair in my tohtoh when you have yours OK?Leave me to run my joint how i want.....I am a sinner whom GOD CHOSE TO BLESS and i will preach forgiveness and others if i want....Maybe I am also preaching to myself..Isnt that a good thing?

Now that reminds me,if you wanna handle the preaching aspect of this blog by sending in posts once a week, please mail me and lets agree.

Biko hapum aka,inugo?

  2. RANT!!!

Am I the only one that dislikes it when people spell Jesus or God with a small j/g? Or when people are swear words in front of the names?  Like oh my fucking (god) Etc... I get disgusted. I mean, I consciously write names of humans with capital letters first, how much more God or Jesus. Don't know whether to call it carelessness, disrespect or what? Not being too spiritual but its ourightly disgusting!

I feel in some sorta way whenever I see it that I'm even tempted to correct the person but for how long?

In other news, today looks like Friday over here... wonder why 😏.

  32. Thanks for taking my suggestion Stella. I was here thinking I didn't explain properly.

Okay! Err... Please me I don't support any depression post. We have had that alot on this blog, especially in anonymous night post. And as many stated on SP some people just use depression carelessly. Life will never be smooth, so we can like to ask God for grace and strength and just chill πŸ™„πŸ™„ if you've not been diagnosed with depression (or any psychological illnesses) don't be calling them upon yourselves. There's power in the tongue.

This also goes for all those who will see a post about a celeb and the first thing you reply is 'she's a psycho, she's having bla bla disorder'. I was surprised when one acclaimed medical doctor did same under tontoh's post the other day and i had to caution him. I'm not really her fan, but Please! ✋✋ The fact that we have access to our phones doesn't mean you use serious things like that to describe people we don't know. I know we are all aware now but me im tired of seeing these names being used carelessly. If you've ever had a psychologist/psychiatrist explain certain things to you, you will be careful how you label yourselves and others. I read a BV yesterday who said she claimed she was depressed buy when the doctor asked her some questions, she even realised she wasn't anything near depression. Sometimes a person might just have anger issues built up by previous experiences, or suffering from PTSD after going through a few traumatic experiences or terrible loss of a loved one, or even mood swings. Yet una go just commot dey call them names wey you never diagnose. Alot of you do it on this blog to celebs. And if you do it to people in your daily Life, be very careful.

'Toke is a narcissist' (I'm not even toke's fan and y'all know that) But please how do you know she is? Are you a doctor? Until she has been diagnosed with narcissism and you are aware, you have NO right to refer to her as such. In the bid to say we are learned, we just show how ignorant we are. Duuh! ✋

@Maryjuana if you were having a bad week cos things aren't going well, not to worry. It happens to the best of us. Cry, ask questions, pick yourself up and keep going. It will end in praise.
But please, NEVER refer to yourself as being depressed again until you've been diagnosed with it. Words are very powerful, leave no room for negativity in your life (from yourself and from other people). It's well with you.
