Super Eagles Goal Keeper Carl Ikeme Is Back On His Feet

Footballer Carl Ikeme, first choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles on Saturday revealed that his cancer is in complete remission.




Ikeme who has been battling Leukaemie shared the news on his social media pages.


The 32-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers keeper was the national team’s first-choice and has been named as an unregistered ’24th member’ of the Nigeria World Cup squad because he was not chosen when he was undergoing treatment.

    Cancer is the devil I tell you, Even when it seems like its over, survivors get scared cos this demon just has a way of crawling back... I pray this is the end of the battle for him.
    For everyone out there battling it or has relatives going through this.... May it go away permanently🙏
    Imagine if he didn't have all this proper health care! *Shuders*
