On the day she was to deliver her husband freaked out and called me.
I was in the labour ward with her, she was whining and crying and I was rubbing her back and encouraging her. The nurses told her to walk around to hasten labour but she couldn't. So I sat with her encouraging her.
Come and see the women in the ward saying different things, they said I should leave, that it was because I was petting her twas why she was being lazy etc.
I noticed they didn't like the fact that I was petting her, these were women that just passed through this same process showing no sympathy at all. Let me not even talk about the nurses.
This reminded me of when I was pregnant and boarding keke with my very long tummy.
Women will never give me chance, they will be dragging bus/keke with me. But the men were always nice, many times men have given up their seats for me, as in they will come down from the bus and ask me to enter.
But women always had this stare like ''been there done that''.
I mean I have actually heard a woman say about another ''na Jesus she wan born?''
My question is why aren't we women sympathetic towards each other?
Why the envy and hate?
Women wounding women

No,it won't..being using it for 4years and i don't rub cream, i have the best skin. People always compliment my skin
DeleteWomen sha, we no dey try for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't start today na. Women are so since time immemorial.
ReplyDeleteWhy wont a woman hate her fellow woman? It has been like that since the beginning of the world.
ReplyDeleteJealousy, envy & hate rules the world. A woman can hardly tolerate a fellow woman looking better or at more advantage.
Well, some women can be so mean. They can even go as far as forming devilish cabals to witch hunt other women whom they feel are not up to their standard. Repent women. My wife tried that rubbish with some fellow woman one time in a group and the stern Warning she received made her sit up fast. With my beer,I am good to go...a lot of yimu around
ReplyDeleteLol@ your wife. You must be joking
DeleteNaturally, women are always bitter towards their fellow women. It's really pathetic
ReplyDeleteWomen women change ooooo..
ReplyDeleteThat's so true about women. Women will envy you Becos you are finer, taller or married to richer men.
ReplyDeleteWomen naturally hate themselves. It has been that way for long. Let's just try to pass the love around, it doesn't hurt to show some caring.
ReplyDeleteThe only explanation for this is jealousy. Started from great grandmas hating on their daughters in law and they in turn transferred same aggression to their own daughters in law. Never wanting the other to be better than them. My mom suffered in the hands of her MIL. But she tolerated her. My uncle didn't allow his mom do anyhow to his wife and the hatred was on another level. Even organised thugs to beat her up while they were dating. And she was claiming born again Christian. Most times men need to come to the defense of their wives and shield them away from in laws (MIL and SIL) that are up to no good.
ReplyDeleteEven sister's secretly jealous each other when one husband is doing better than d other but pretend about it
ReplyDeleteI was pregnant as a junior doctor in Luth. The female doctors were absolute witches. No sympathy at all. The male doctors? They were real gentlemen. I remember a particular consultant; she was awful to me. She made my life hell.
