This Rice eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh......I nearly went crazy cooking this rice...
They say its natural rice as is written on it..and i assumed it would end up better than Basmatti rice!
My people i bought this rice and set out to cook it...
One hour later this rice was still cooking...
Two hours later this rice finally cooked and was double the amount and tasted like nonsense.....I cannot shout!!
When i wanna cook rice i measure like three handfuls for the whole fam cos we eat it with other Veggies and stuff to make a plate full but i cooked only one handful and the pot was full!!!...I nearly fainted oh.

Good afternoon madam Stella. Please and please help me post in your blog so the doctors here can help me. I have been experiencing severe itching in my scalp and skin for as long as I can remember. I just felt it was normal until recently I started reading so many things online. This itchiness has been a part of my life. I'm tired and sad because of it. Day and night I itch.
I wash my clothes,towel, bedsheets everything. I wash my undies with antiseptic. I bath with antiseptic. I recently stopped bathing at night because it intensifies the itch. Life in the barracks can sometimes be interesting, boring and frustrating. So we stay in one barracks in the East and enough gbenge normally happen. Let me start with the issue of one soldier wife .
This soldier wife is an hairdresser and she makes hair quite well, her husband happen to be on mission then She always want to famz herself with officers wives, so she makes most officers wives hair. There as always been rumour flying around that she goes after men to club and all.
On this particular morning that her village people where on her matter, she was going out of the barracks very early in the morning and the security guard at the post requested her to open her booth for security check. She refused at first
claiming to be a soldier wife and all. But trust soldiers, they insisted. Only for her to open and they saw a huge man locked up in her booth.
The woman felt shamed and was taken to the MP with the man. After interrogation, it was deduced that the man was her man friend who slept over at her house, she locked him in her booth so that people won't see her conveying a man in her car....... After series of interrogations carried out by the MP, the woman confessed that the man was her "man friend" who visits her often and slept in her barracks accommodation.
However , the most intriguing part of the story was that the soldier wife who was caught up in this immortality does not want the news to spread in the barracks community. She then promised the intelligent officer that she will" gbensh" him if he let the matter die without making an official report . The intelligent officer tried killing the matter until it resurrected two days after.
The soldier wife who Is at the center of the controversy have another friend ( let me call her Ms B) who she confides in (Ms B is unmarried), is the only one that is aware of the whole scenario. unknown to the soldier wife that Ms B and her "man friend" have a history. So Ms B was unhappy that the issue was going to die - down. She called senior officer and narrated the scenario to him. The senior officer then called the soldier in- charge to ask about the issue , he was blabbing and the senior officer told him to make it official.
The intelligent officer had no choice than to make an official report about the scandalous situation . That was how our "noble" hairdresser was disgraced in the barracks community. It was later we got to know that Ms. B was the one who even alerted the guards at the gate to check cars coming out of the barracks thoroughly that day.
*One way or the other frenemies are always exposed...can you just imagine!...It took a disgrace for her to know who the devil in her life is!...Oga /Madam abeg dish us more stories from that end..lol

RE- SHOCKINGLY STINGY MOTHER
Hello Stella and BVs,thank you all for your contributions.I want to clarify somethings.My brother wasn't earning much when he got married but things improved,my families contributed because that's the right thing to do.We don't interfere in their marriage,my aunt hasn't visited them in over two years,she only went last year December to say hello since my brother traveled.
She went with foodstuffs and the kids were the one who told her somethings.My aunt called her and told her to stop giving them garri for lunch everyday and she said that's how she was brought up,hence the statement of kids are asked if they have eaten and not if they are filled up.Her cousin who lives with them has been sleeping with Hausa boys for 100n to eat,the girl went to report her to HISBAH and they almost took the girl away(she's 13).
She was the one who called to tell us about the situation,if a girl of 13 is already sexually involved to feed,what will happen to my nephews in 3-5 years time?We don't hate her neither do we intimidate our in laws,my family are close and we support each other.We didn't tell my brother to avoid quarrel between them. I'm going to tell my family to ask for her permission before taking the kids,the right channel would be followed.
If we were bad people,she won't be disturbing us to come and take them for holidays.Thank you all.

Say she go do shuku shuku outside and he has prove over it. They stay in a different state from us. This matter has been on for more than 3months now so I told my hubby, let's travel and sort it out once and for all. He said NO! That God is too merciful and won't strike her dead if she later ask for forgiveness.
Somehow me I'm happy this is happening to her cos if it was one of us her daughters-in-law, ha she for say na 1000% true that her children don't lie, even when one got their cousin pregnant, she said lie lie not her son, that she got pregnant outside and want to pin it on her son. She for done come fight and throw us out herself. She has tried to make her children take her side and turn against thier father, but me i have made hubby see reasons why he shouldn't take sides but sort the matter out as the first cos for the past 9yrs i have been in this family, their father has never acted this way or treated any of us badly. 1-2 she done call dey cry that our father-in-law wants to kill her o!. The man said is not true that she is the one fighting and threatening to kill him and cut him into pieces. That he wants to act but only considering his children, we his daughters-in-law and ground kids, but since the wife doesn't want to say the truth, he will take the matter up and get to the end.
The man done take the matter to his people and hers o! That him no want to die. That mbiasi people, the said man is from there (side eyes @hubby trying to decode me)are bad and he may plan with the wife and kill him.
We are going this weekend to trash the matter. May God give us wisdom cos this one hard o!

DeleteHey the person with "ITCHINESS" . I have the same thing and it intensifies when the weather is cold. But I have been using HOT Water to bathe for years and it reduces it. From findings I discovered it's called "Aquagenic Pruritus" . For some cold water makes them itch while others it's water then in extreme cases it's WATER in general.

The lady with itching skin does it happen after shower? What triggers the attack? What kind of soap and cream do you use? We need full history so that we can know the type of advice to offer you. I suffered a terrible skin itching at one point in my life,but I've bn able to overcome. Although the ugly demon resurfaces once in a while but not as bad as its used to be.
ReplyDeleteFirst thing first, pls stop bathing with antiseptic soap. Try and get irish spring or other nice toilet soap. Secondly, if you're bleaching or using any toning or lightening cream,soap,or serum its time you get rid of them. What you need is nice skin soothing lotion. You can use olay total effect.. That's what I use too. And last but not the least stop bathing with cold water for now,you can use lukewarm or warm water when bathing. May God see you through.
You can goggle aquagenic pruritis and see if thats what you're suffering from. When I did extensive research on my own itching I discovered mine is the above named disease condition. Its usually comes immediately after bathing.

Hmmmm,,this lady abuse me kan send me to my mama but I heard some trying to correct her but me no worry,just left the place.
If I may ask,have I done anything wrong? If yes,do you think she is right with such action?..what if I replied the slap,what would have happened?

I've finally realised that most people selling make up don't even know what they're doing. This is how I have two bottles of make up that I can't use because they're not my shade. Almost 20k wasted. Will I be using foundation on my bum bum. And they'll be speaking with so much confidence, confidence untop of nothing.
