YOUR TEMPERAMENT AND HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS



When I come in contact with someone for the first time and I know we'll have to be together for a short time or perhaps a long period of time,  my first personal assignment is to study that person to avoid any form of quarrels and arguments.  I have a knack for assessing people's character almost correctly through their speech, actions and body language.  


I am dominantly melancholic,the never going out, love to be alone,reserved type with fluctuating moods. I'ld rather stay indoors sleeping than go out to visit anyone except it's very crucial but God's word and enlightenment have made me  better.


I get along easily with fun-to-be with sanguine and easy-going phlegm  but one type of temperament I still find difficult coping with are the cholerics, they always leave me feeling vulnerable and hurt with their unsifted words,insensitivity and lack of empathy. Except for a few who have made conscious attempts to improve.  Whenever I notice that someone close to me or perhaps a friend is of this temperament,  I give the person a wide berth. 


Jumoke of "Your View" on TVC is a clear example of a choleric.  They are born leaders, courageous and fearless. They have the tendency to always want to dominate. Even in a conversation, you'll notice they always want to take the lead and in their bid to achieve this they may unconsciously shush the other person and in the eyes of the  person cut short,  they are rude and insensitive.  They are too blunt for their own good.


When I wanted to make the big decision of choosing a life partner, I seriously studied his temperament because if I had made the mistake of marrying a dominant choleric, it's either I die in silence slowly or both of us will be fighting on regular basis.  Some of the hiccups experienced in most marriages today are because the intending couple  never took time to know if their  temperaments are compatible. 


In some of the cases of domineering husbands or wives who lord over their husbands, it's very likely they are of  the choleric temperament.
If statistics were shown,  I think cholerics will have the highest narcissistic tendencies.

Let me drop the latest news flying inside the barracks. So a Major who is the officer in charge of a Day secondary school was allegedly said to have impregnated a teacher of the school. 


The Madam ( officer's wife) is said to be infuriated presently and rumour has it that the teacher is even a married woman sef. But Oga Major is not bothered a bit because according to barracks gist his Madam sef dey gbensh outside. I will report back how this story unfolds.
