PARENTS BEAT UP PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER

So this happened yesterday Stella, in a primary school in mushin, lagos. 
it was very sad.

So this parent(man looking like a lizard)came into the school, dragged the young girl out of the class (she isn't more than 23), put her in a corner and started beating her. He was throwing punches at her, stomped on her tummy like a foot mat. He fought her like she were a man!! You can spot her in the background of this video. 

What was her offence? He said she instructed his kids not to eat the lunch packed for them. He beat up his wife for cooking beans, then beat up the teacher for asking them not to eat it. His kids obviously do not like beans, but they bring it to school almost everyday. The teacher confirmed this. He was also aggrieved by the fact that his child was sent out of school the previous day for owing school fee. I confirm that he was in the school yesterday and wanted to attack the teacher but the HM pleaded with him and they thought all was well. He went back today to kill her cos the way he beat her ehn?!


The sad part that is that men were even shielding him from the beatings of angered women and playing the "calm down" card. I even called the police and they said I should refer to ministry of women affairs. If it was a man, whom would they have asked me to call, men affairs?

He was asked to take the girl to a clinic, that's the clinic in the background of the video, but the clinic which was run by a woman rejected her, saying they would need a police report cos it was a case if battery( I support this).

I don't know who might read this, if you post, but that man needs to me arrested! Not once did I hear him say "I am sorry"
He wasn't remorseful. 

So sad, a young girl trying to make money the legit way, got this ill treatment from the parent of a child she was instilling good morals and education in, cos she is a good teacher...regardless of the meagre salary she was being paid. 

Sorry for the long write up...that woman screaming is angered parent, she was crying cos it really hurt her.

FROM THURSDAYS IN HOUSE COMMENT SECTION....

Pls I need serious advice from my bvs. My husband is the cool and calm type,an introvert to the core. Junior workers at his work place do use him as a guarantor. I have warned him to stop being too nice but he won't hear. Naso,this guy wey him do guarantor for now said he's quitting his job this month and a total of 5000 naira will be deducted from my husbands salary for good 3 months. 

I was so pissed because we are just managing 75k,no savings ooo with two children and they will soon start school by September by Gods grace. The guy wants to resign because his baby mama came to his place of work and told the management to divide his salary into two that he doesn't pay his child school fees but the guy in turn said he will not pay school fees cos she's always using swear words on him whenever she's demanding money that instead of sharing his salary into two,he'd rather resign and go back to his place.

 So he decided to resign this month and he said he will try to return my husbands money later. I thank God this happened to my husband, next time,he'll always listen to what I tell him. He's too soft for my likening. Now,the guy said he'll come and see hubby since yesterday,he never showed face. What advice can you give....

FAKE JOB ADVERTISEMENT ON THIS BLOG.

Good day, sorry I haven’t gotten back to you after my last mail, I asked my younger sister to give me a detailed descrioptio on how the interview went and here is what she sent

''First of all, they advertised as westello group of companies Nig Ltd on your blog, and when they got to the venue the name of the company was High pillars international

That morning we came in and were told to write our names and the code we were sent before going into the hall. This we did and waited till 10:30 am when a lady came and moved us to a smaller room

She instructed us to get our materials ready for an interview. Soon a lady came in and gave us questions. Two questions precisely.

1. Write an application letter to the MD High pillars international, stating the reasons why you should be employed.

2. Write two differences between an entrepreneur and an employee

We wrote it for 15 mins.

A lady came in and took our papers while we waited.

Soon the lady who gave us the questions came in and introduced herself as a director. Said she came into the company 6_months ago. She warned us to put our phones on silent mood. Personally I did because I didn't want anything to disqualify me.

She told us that we will not be allowed to make or answer calls until the end of what we came for. And they would not allow and discussion or side talks. We wanted to talk to ourselves but were scared of disqualification.

She told us many stories about the company and never mentioned the company's name except for the questions.

She ushered in a young man and said the young man was the director of directors. He came and told that the company was in Owerri and a new one in Enugu

That their head quarter is not in Nigeria

The workers are being paid from there and after a while we will be sent to abroad to continue working, that was the enticing part of the drama

We all became very interested and he finished the long story which we did not understand. He rushed in another manager who he said was their head for Onitsha branch. She came in and said she wanted to select her unit heads and said the space was for people who could provide 19,500 that day

Almost everyone stood up

It was just four that could not

The ones that could were moved out for the oral interview while the ones that can’t were left sitting there

She further asked us if we can raise at least, 10,000 and we still kept mute and she said 5,000 or 2,000 so she would help us process the license from World health organization that will enable us work as nutritionist. We said we can't and she left

The male director came in and persuaded us to think of how to get the money

When he noticed we were not responding they separated us and moved us to some other people to talk to us.

Until my sister said I should leave the place''

*I feel so horrible reading this...How does one tell what a fake Vacancy looks like before posting?Its not possible to do but please if you attend an interview you are asked to pay or if the interview goes south becos its fake,please send in a mail like this with every info included for a call out....

MEMO TO POSTER WANTING TO PROSECUTE PROF WHO SAID SICKLE CELL IS A DISEASE


First i would like to sympathise with people that have the SS genotype, it's not your fault and I pray God give you all the strength you need to ‘overcome'.

Let me go to the very beginning, while growing-up, primary school precisely, I had two friends who were SS, their parents gave birth to three kids. mind you, then I couldn't really comprehend what it was all about, but every week we were always in their house to pay them a visit because one of them must fall sick to cut the long story short, one of them died while we were in primary school while the other passed while in secondary school. I can never forget their faces. Also, my best friend in Uni lost her only sister to the same disease.


It was after i got to Uni that I understood what exactly it was and that it could have being prevented if the parents had done the right thing. Was the Prof wrong by stigmatising them....??? Absolutely!!. I am not going to make excuses for him, but I think he lacked effective communication however, the conversation has to be held. This days people are getting married just for the sake of it and throwing “caution to the wind’.



There is religious angle that if I am AS and marry another AS we can pray not to have SS. While others will say if give birth to a baby with SS we can handle it because we love each other. Another will say let do it while pregnate I can go for a test to determine the genotype of the baby. But lets face the truth.... marriage is hard enough on it's own without the stress of having a special need child. Then the finacial burden. How many people can really 
effectively afford to finance a special need child. Then going to check the genotype of a baby while pregnant is not cheap, also what happened if the child is SS you go for an elective abortion, which has it own psychological effort on the mother. 


Even if you decide to have the child, why knowly bring a child into the world to suffer. I remember a few weeks ago, a lady wrote to your blog on the verge of breaking down because she has two kids with SS genotype. Pls any one that is yet to read that story pls do, you will feel real pain. I believe it was all this that the Prof was trying to pass across but used the wrong words. 


To the lady that wants to fund the lawsuit, maybe it got you really upset because you are SS if that is the case, I totally understand, and I am so sorry you have the disease or maybe you are just an advocate.However Madam, it is not necessary, sometimes you have 2 be harse on some group of people for them to receive sense. People should please go for a proper genotype test before getting married unless you decide not to have kids.




PS:  £1000 is not enough to get a seasoned professional. For my brother in law to even agree to have a meeting with a client in Abuja you have to pay 1m upfront and that is just the beginning.
PSS: I know i can't tell you what to do with your money but if you really want to give it away, pls give it to that lady with two SS kids.
