Is this enough to make a former Gov cry?
The is exactly what happened on Tuesday as a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Gudu, Abuja sentenced former Governor of Plateau State and serving senator, Joshua Dariye, to 14 years’ imprisonment on charges of criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of over N1.16bn belonging to the state.
Heya! he wasn't 'jagaban' enough...
ReplyDeleteReally??
DeleteI'm for justice but this is pure witch hunt Sentencing the man to jail to jail In the same country that we have people like Patience Jonathan, Bukola Saraki and others walking freely???? Double standard
DeleteNyoorr to him!..
ReplyDeleteHe has never seen chonchin!!...
Vuharia,if you like put all your enemies in prison in the name of fighting kworoption,Nigerians are voting you out come 2019!!...
I hope you won’t eat back your words after February next year. Dariye is an APC member and has been in court since 2007. Was there any clash between him and the president that you heard of? So Rev Jolly Nyame that was also sentenced was because of his friction with Buhari? Remain there in your illusion while you deceive yourself that your vote alone will take the man out of government.
DeleteIf he had been in court since 2007, it only says that it was not Buhari fighting corruption. Now that he is APC, what do you think? A straight pardon by the President. Case close
DeleteNo be small Nyooor. He would have cried blood join.😏
DeleteI feel really bad for him but why steal public funds.
ReplyDeleteFeel bad for him??
DeleteOMG I pity him, who will jail buhari someday?
ReplyDeleteHow the mighty has fallen.
ReplyDeleteNothing was said about recovering the money from him, has it been recovered? Will it be recovered? Thats my main concern
ReplyDeleteRecovered or not is the same thing my dear. What happened to all the ones recovered since this Administration? Abacha proceeds nko? Forget these people jare.
DeleteWhy 'weepeth' thou? When you were chopping the oshofree money, did you weep? I guess you thought decamping to APC would absolve you of your orukuruku crimes.
ReplyDeleteOnly 14 years that would end up being 7 years abi 3 years sef, you're crying. Meanwhile a commoner would steal #50,000 and get life.
Na wa.
Who sentenced him to knuckle-burning before the judge handed him the 14years though? Person never enter hell fire, he don dey burn already. This one na VIP prisoner na. He'll be home away from home. Na only party he no go dey attend. All other rights are exclusively reserved. Person wey dem go release after election next year.
DeleteDon't you think Dariye would have been canonized a saint if he had chosen to be a sycophant or an APC member. He should have known better that his sins will be forgiven when he cross over to the ruling party. He should have asked how those past governors who did worse than him are walking freely.
ReplyDeleteUr point dey Dia.
DeleteMc pinky
He's a serving APC Senator.
DeleteI thought Teejay is an intelligent person but he continuously disappoints me with dumb comments. Dariye is an APC member. So what is your point? Make sure you know something before posting a comment. At least, your grammar isn’t a disaster today. Though, there are problems in your sentences. Learn to use question mark. Learn to know when to use would and will.
Delete@Teejay, go do your research well. Joshua Dariye is an APC member.
DeleteIf you said so anonymous 10:48 but maybe he wasn't useful to the party. They made him scapegoat. I know governors that came into APC and became vocal. Today they are walking freely. Isn't that corruption itself?
DeleteStop talking nonsense Teejay. Your first post was completed misguided because your information wasn’t correct. Stop looking for ways to salvage your error. Just take it that you missed the point with your first post.
DeleteObviously an apc stalwart
Delete@Teejay, it is not “if I said so”. The man is a serving APC senator. Do what are you saying? Your first post said if he was a sycophant or had crossed over to APC, his sin would have been forgiven. But the man himself is an APC member. Dariye has been in court since 2007 just like Jolly Nyame. Have the governors you claim to know that became vocal after moving to APC been in court? No. Stop misinforming yourself because you want to comment.
Delete11:51 chill, its not that serious. You can illustrate your point without being rude or aggressive. We aren't dragging anything.
DeleteHmmm should I say Nigeria is getting better, hope he will spend the 14years in jail shaa, I kind of pity him oo..greetings to you Iya boys..
ReplyDeleteChai. See the size of the money. 14 years is too small na
ReplyDeleteMight be Fake tears. When the masses were crying nko 😂
ReplyDeleteBubu is working on corruption, 2nd term is for real........Sai baba

ReplyDeleteSorry sir, before you know it 14 years will elapse and you will be set free. This will sound as a detriment to others intending embezzlers.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha na
ReplyDeleteMore of this Mr president, there are so many of them that need to go to jail.
ReplyDeleteGod please let this be the lot of former Abia state governor T.A Orji who embezzled the state fund in Jesus Name,Amen. T.A Orji keep hiding in the senate very soon you will spend your last days in Jail.wicked soul

ReplyDeleteDon't be deceived Nigerians the Presidential election is just around the corner.Shine your eyes,he was just used as a scapegoat.
ReplyDeleteWho knows the colour of his tears? Eiya, Sorry Sir.
ReplyDeleteWas he in tears when he was enjoying the spoils of his deceit.
ReplyDeleteThere is certainly a lot to find out about this topic.
ReplyDeleteI love all the points you have made.
