Rovavo made the announcement in Abuja on Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Olukunle Bamgbose.
The envoy said, “The purpose of my visit was to further cement the bilateral relations between Ecuador and Nigeria. The two countries have agreed to sign an agreement to enable our citizens to visit one another without a visa. There are approximately about one thousand Nigerians living in Ecuador and the number would continue to rise.”
Bamgbose assured the envoy that the Federal Government would work with Ecuador on how to implement the non-visa agreement.
He said that the two countries agreed on how they could strengthen ties as both nations were witnessing increases in trade.

Nigerians will start running over there very soon.
ReplyDeleteBut there's absolutely nothing in Ecuador...Nigeria is better than them.
ReplyDeleteThey have cocain.

DeleteHmmm nice.
ReplyDeleteThis will become drug headquarter for some Naija.
ReplyDeleteLol
ReplyDeleteEcuador is a middle income country according to Wikipedia. USD is their currency as the Ecuadorian Sucre collapsed almost 20 years ago. If we are trying to deal with drug influx, we would definitely not look to the drug hubs of the world for bilateral relations but who knows they might be on the mend.
ReplyDeleteIf Nigeria is considered as 3rd world country then Ecuador is 14th world.....lol.
ReplyDeleteNot even as a tourist is it worth visiting.
Goodbye.
At least stable light is guaranteed 😁😁😁,
ReplyDeleteNigeria foreign affair minister should sign such agreement with countrits like Spain, USA, France, UAE and so on. Not Equador everything they do is for their benefits only. Useless Government.
