..Not everyone has it easy,Imagine both!
Finally my Labour room drama.. ....
Darling thanks so much for this platform, may God continue to bless you. My pregnancy journey was smooth, no morning sickness nor loss of appetite, I was strong and healthy all through. I went to the hospital on the day of my Edd and my doctor gave me One week if labour doesn't come he will induce me:..
I became very scared knowing most induction end in the theatre. I went home and started doing all the things that will induce labour naturally like dancing, squatting, walking, eating full pineapple and dates like some bvs advised, one week came and passed no show and I refused going to see the doctor, people started telling me I should stay at home till labour start on its own that those private hospital like money too much that's why they rush people.
42 weeks no labour I just jejely carried my box called my mum to meet me at the hospital. When I got to the hospital the doctor first scold me and started telling me the risk involved when you delay blablabla.. He now asked me to lay down and he inserted one drug like that, I thought it was going to be painful like some bvs mama narrate but I didn't feel anything, they now gave me a room that they will be coming to check me from time to time and that was like 8am, I just balanced on my bed and started playing gospel music from my phone and watching African magic awaiting when the pain will start.
A nurse came by some minutes to 11am and said she want to check me and I was like its too early and moreover I am not feeling any pain yet but still she said its the Doctor who told her to check me, I angrily followed her to the labour room and when she checked she said I was 7cm gone and she broke my water, Stellicious the pain started after this nurse broke my water and she was like the way I am progressing I will give birth before 12:30 but the devil came at the wrong time..
when one of the nurses checked me again and went and burst something and my baby's heartbeat started reducing,i am sure she mistakenly pressed my baby's tummy and they decided to give me drip to hasten labour, the 20mins of the pain I passed through with that drip can not be compared with anything.
They checked again and said I was fully dilated but rushed to call the doctor, when he came checked me he went out to meet my people where they were firing prayers I don't know what they discussed, he came back and I was taken to the theatre and under some minutes my bundle of joy was brought out and placed on my chest, the most handsome child I have ever seen, I was so happy and all I was telling the doctor was to give me bikini stitches and to the glory of God everything went well. I went through the two process of giving birth but if I am to choose I will choose CS over and over, my tummy went back almost immediately and I started eating the next day.
I went for the emergency C-section because my baby poo-ed according to doctor. Was discharged the third day cos I and my handsome was OK and they named me in the hospital bikini stitches. I did scan in two different places and was told I was expecting a baby girl so everything I bought was pink and my love came out a boy.
Pls bear with me with the gbagaun I am not a good writer..To those waiting for their bundle of joy, may the God that did it for me do it for you all in Jesus name Amen. My baby is two weeks today being Thursday, pic for your eyes alone Stellicious darling and my single pic is my throw back Thursday pic. Kisses.
*WOW....congratulations
Congratulations on your bundle of joy.. Lol at bikini stitches.. Scan do lie a lot, my younger sister was also told she would be having a girl but she had a boy
ReplyDeleteMy dear, you went to a better hospital hospital. Congratulations and God bless
DeleteCongratulations madam! God bless you and your baby
DeleteMy dear I appreciate God for your life and your baby. Labour pain is the worst ever.
ReplyDeleteCongrats momma. God bless your prince charming
ReplyDeleteWow. God is good
ReplyDeletecONGRATULATIONS. LUCKY U
DeleteMadam bikini stitches. Big congrats o! God really came through for you. Your baby was in serious distress hence his pooing inside you. To make matters worse if he inhaled it, he could have had serious damage to his lungs hence the doctors rushing you in for an emergency caesarean. This is why Nigerian women need to be educated about the labour process and not be scared of having a c section!!!. The operation is there to save your life and that of your baby if need be. Prayers can indeed help but your pastor is not a medical doctor. A word is enough for the wise.
ReplyDeleteCongrats mama..gearing up for my triplet next year..
ReplyDeletecongratulations on your baby!!! why do scans always deceive people?
ReplyDeleteThank God
ReplyDeleteWow,congratulations and thank God the baby is fine!!

congrats dear
ReplyDeletecongrats dear. pregnancy has never been an easy journey for me. but I always thank God for the grace to pull through
ReplyDeleteCongrats poster, thank God for u. Kisses to ur son. with my first baby, t'was a terrifying and horrible 4th degree perineal tear bcos doctor didnt allow me dilate well and also didnt guide my baby. With my second, all the doctors at the govt hospital i had the first wrote that i must undergo an elective c.s because of the same mistake they caused in my first delivery. I just carried myself to a private clinic with matrons and midwives, though my baby was breach, they gave me all the confidence i needed plus i already struck a deal with God that the first experience will never repeat itself. One hour plus from first labour pain till delivery, my princess came forth with her bumbum. I never joked with my hot water and kegals right from my first delivery. The pains women go thru in course of labour eeeehn... God would have just allowed it turn by turn. Father go once, mother go the second and etc.
ReplyDeleteLol @father go once...
DeletePersonal tear has nothing to do with cervical dilation. They were probably pitying you and didn't cut you on time or enough. And now it's their fault. Meanwhile, They are different types of breech. Don't go and make another woman take risks in your name.
DeleteAs for poster, induction does not end in cs . Stop spreading ignorance.
This is why I'm mean. Patients always blame u when it doesn't favour them.
Anonymous 14:35, I hope your child does not 've CP.
DeleteThat is how one woman I know whose ba y was breech refused cs and went somewhere to try vaginal birth.
Now the her baby has cp and she is carrying the child upandan.
Anonymous17:55 thank you, my friend was induced for her first pregnancy and she still has a vaginal birth.
DeleteCongratulations!!!! May God bless your baby boy
