It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I decided to give myself a treat. 

I went to a make up studio to get a full make over. Was that the treat? For somebody like me that has never had her brows on fleek (lol hard as I try don't always seem to get it right). It was.

So I went to the studio and told the artist to go the whole nine yards, put all the "putables" even put eyelashes join. I really wanted to have those amazing before and after transformations we see online that makes us say make up artist won't make heaven.


So after like 30 minutes she said she was done, I was like done bawo? You don put everything finish?
She said yes madam its nude make up. Its not so loud so your natural beauty can.... 

( I cut in) Who natural beauty help? 

Abeg pack all the shine shine, glitters every every. 

She said ''madam you wan pepper them?''  I said I need them to cry. 

She started work again, by the time she was done I resemble who carry Load for face. I had glitters eye-shadow (have You used that before? Its kind of heavy) plus lashes I have never been more un comfortable in my life. 

So quickly I started snapping. I added filters, photo shop use all the photo beauty apps I have, I just gats to fine don't you get?
By the time I have achieved the look (truly I didn't get what I was looking for) I entered social media started pasting pictures up and down.

Then the comments started flowing in, great comments, people have never seen me like this. Then calls started coming in too, my friend called and said her husband is yet to get over my pictures o, maybe she should send him to my house so she can hear word. 

My ex called wished me well and said I looked like wine, better with age. Others called and said beautiful things? I felt good, happy.

After a while whether my eyes were reacting to the lashes I couldn't tell but hey become very red and itchy and very uncomfortable, I had to take them out. I can't come and injure myself.

It took 2 days for the eyes to return to normal but it was worth it sha. Plus I still have my fly pictures. It didn't bother me that I looked nothing like that in real life. It was my birthday gift to myself and I loved it. I would have loved to share it with you guys but lets forget that side .....
