DeleteI have some uncles who are very well to do. There is one among them who lives abroad and comes once in a while on vacation naija at his beautiful home. Once in a while, he takes molue ride to Lagos island from Ipaja. He alights to eat at buka and move around a bit. Boards another molue back. He says being with the 'real' people, especially when the guys on-board begin to advertise drugs that can cure from malaria, to typhoid to cancer ( same drug o), is comic relief and realness is something he misses whenever he is away and looks forward to when he is coming. He has tried to encourage the other brothers to do it too but lailai..those ones are always aghast just at the thought. They dont understand how he manages to do it. I guess Otedola just wanted to experience that life too..if only for one day. Wish i was d one that sat beside him.

ReplyDeleteGenevieve has given us an image of her that she can't retrieve, the classy lady. i'm sure it's hard to keep up but the respect that comes with it has no match. she's like the beyonce of Nigeria. every celeb wishes to be associated with her. omotola is more like the rihanna, she's more vocal and doesn't ooze that class genevieve oozes but she's cool and dresses well. tonto dike is the kim kardashian, she wants to be genevieve's friend so bad and has marital issuues. the only difference is that she doesn't have a momager.
