My mom said a year; that I wake her up if I am pressed in the night.

DeleteI stopped bed wettin by 6 but once I entered my late 20s I bed wetted once in a blue moon especially when I drink water late before going to bed.sometime I feel am in the toilet only to wake up to see myself doing it on my bed.abeg is this normal
Deletei stopped actively at ten. i still peed sparingly at 11 while in jss1.
Deletei remember i peed one night in primary five. i woke up and went to have a shower my mum woke up and came to meet me in the bathroom and asked me why i was having a shower, she asked if i peed i said no. she said tell the truth i said yes. she said hope you will not be peeing when you get to boarding house lol. safe to say i still peed there.
we had double decker beds and my sisters bunk was under mine so one night when she went home sick i slept in her bed and peed. she had two foams. once i woke up sharp sharp i put the wet foam under the dry one so no one will know. one ss3 senior entered the room and said the place smelt of pee. she now called out 1 jss2 girl there famous for bedwetting. started making her bring out all her foams and bedsheets. then she started inspecting all the jss1 and 2 girls. they checked my bed nothing. i will never forget that day lol. They never caught me sha

God dey answer prayer ooooo". she is 17 now and about to enter d university.

ReplyDelete13years. My mom and dad had plans to travel too the village and she told me that she will get me a snake belt to wear since that is the local way of stopping it. Before she got back from the village, bed-wetting stopped by force! Lol the fear of snake belt!
ReplyDeleteLol 😂😂😂
DeleteI can vividly recall things that happened to me when I was about 4-5 years old and bedwetting isn't part of that memory. I must have stopped at a very early age and none of my siblings had that issue too.
ReplyDeleteRead somewhere that the fear of the father causes kids to wet their beds, how true is this?
ReplyDeleteHow did you all deal with the shame/embarrassment of wetting the bed, age 10 - upwards
God intervention did it aged 14, Flogging did not work, pissing on concoction did not work, visiting doctors did not work, shaming me in school did not work - But I think rosary reading saved my day - I just stopped - God Never Fails.
I won’t go anon on this
ReplyDeleteI was 13/14 years

ReplyDeleteMc pinky
I can't even remember bed-wetting,don't have any memory of it . None of my siblings never did either. Nobi say we be perfect kids o,my bro is very stubborn till date. I just feel that bedwetting of a thing can also be psycological. Till now I have that habit of weeing before I sleep whether nothing comes out or not. Plus in my house once you eat at 7. Nothing like Milo or drink after. We must use toilet after then use again when my mum comes and check on us during the night.
ReplyDeleteMy mum is a very tough woman that hates anything bed-wetting. None of us did it. I'm also applying same method now. But I actually feel bedwetting is psycological. There is even a drug for it i believe.
I never did that thing ooo, very disgusting!
