RE-SHAKING THE TABLE
This is actually from yesterday in house news....i asked her more questions and this is the explanation.
it's a complicated issue and no one knows tomorrow. I dont want to make mockery of the situation cos the woman is such a nice person with a beautiful heart.
The thing is we(women) should be careful and trust our instinct and I also know that men tend to prey on women that are introvert cos I see no reason or am yet to understand how this man got such a wonderful woman.
What I heard is the man was once married and dis woman was in the same compound with this my uncle.
My uncle had problem with his first relationship cos it wasnt marriage. The relationship produced three children, then he married this woman who is educated and comes from a good background o(he's not educated) this woman has 2 children for him and this woman sometimes sends money to his children from his previous marriage. She has taken them as her children. But, this my uncle still has another 3 children this woman is unaware of. He stays with this one cos she's working and practically foots the bill.
Stella, she has never nagged for one day. I have learnt a lot from her on being submissive but then I don't know how she fell for this man. So painful when I see her struggles and all. May God help us all. Let us shine our eyes ooo.

If you must succeed in life, there is a need to be proactive in your approach towards life's pursuit, for it is foolhardy to keep doing one thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
What exactly are your plans for tomorrow? Do you dream of a better future? What do you have at hand at the moment?

ReplyDeleteMy id as you all know is PLATTERS FOODS, it was created this year for this business. Before now, i used to comment with Reqe (as this was for my fashion). i've used this ID before to comment a handful of times. yesterday, i tried commenting using my Platter ID but it was not going through so i used the Reqe ID cos i wanted to thank Stella and everyone for the opportunity. Why must you foot all the expenses of the traditional marriage ceremony in your family part? You are 27 and so? Does it means you should lay a bad foundation for your marriage? If your husband is not capable, then wait till he is ready or do parlour ceremony according to what his pocket can carry. I repeat 'his pocket'. As you lay your bed, so will you lie on it. Marriage ceremony is just the beginning, the main marriage itself is coming and that is where you will see something. Maybe you have been doing things yourself before in the relationship and now you want to carry it into the marriage, I pity you. I pray you don't cry later.
I made the mistake of letting him know my income and also joining my money with his own for our marriage and till today I don't have savings of my own. He knows what I earn and we join money together to do everything. My mum doesn't get any money from me for months most times because my money is budgeted for something else every month. I also know what he earns.
If Internet had been rampant like it is today and I get to read blogs and Facebook groups like I do now, I would have known better. Infact I would not have married him at that time cos he was a little broke. Maybe I would have told him to hustle more, change his job, start a business or something before marriage and if he did not like it, we would have gone our separate ways, I was 27 too.
Since after marriage, we have been moving in circles, expenses are more than income, no tangible achievement except the two kids. All I can do now is to advise young ladies. I can't change my situation or it will lead to a break up in the marriage which will be bad for the kids cos I know he will never allow me to take them.
