JINXED WITH FRIENDS
Straight to the point. I'm a female in my early twenties. I don't really have many friends but the few I have, I cherish them.
What bothers me now is that, for a while now, I just have this disconnection from friends, like they just wake up one morning and start giving me attitude,leaving me clueless as to what actually happened and when I try to reach out to find out the issue, the response is not even encouraging.
I'm self-sufficient and I'm actually contented with my own company, so it's not like I can't do without friends. But as the saying goes, no man is an island, and it's a really good thing to build contacts as you never know when you'd need them and also, for companionship sake.
I know I'm not perfect, but I'm not a bad person and I certainly don't deserve to be "ghosted" without so much as a warning. But since it keeps occurring, I'm starting to think that I may be jinxed. Is it possible? Maybe I did something in the past and this is supposed to be some sort of punishment? It's really scary.

Saying "All men are cheat" will be over stating the obvious, to a sizeable extend it is an already known fact to a logical conclusion that 95% does. It takes only a well disciplined man to be faithful and they are quite few which aren't up to 5% .
All those men and women that cheat with two to three partners how do you even do it confidently without having in mind that you will be caught someday?
A friend of mine was in the habit of saving the names of his female catch with male names to deceive madam, we his friends knew but his woman didn't but curiosity led her one day to find out. Dude was so funny that he even stored one with pastor Peter, lol bad guy. Women will always find out whatever they want from their men unless they don't want or just don't wanna entertain drama.
I still remember how my in law mistakenly sent a text message meant for his mistress to his wife my sister one cool night to meet him at a hotel, that he was already seated over 30mins waiting for her. My dear people na for village that Christmas dem settle that matter. You see am sef say the cheating no easy sef becos na fear go dey catch you always, unless na person wey don sell him or her conscience.
For all those team cheaters please don't let the devil play a fast one on you and bring your legs outside, for there is nothing hidden under the sun that won't be reveal at it fullness. Something wey dey sweet dem say dey also kill.

PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING
Hello sella,
Stella I am an ardent reader and follow of your blog(BV), I mostly send in my comments as anonymous.
I have never seen my self in a position to send in a chronicle, my story is a clear need for help. I am a married man with a child and for the past 10 months i have been facing financial challenges due to the fact that I was duped by a friend whom I borrowed money and to my greatest surprise he is no more in the country.
As for my job I have not been paid for the past 10 months and my company is on the verge of shutting down it's operations and laying off all staffs. I even started a crayfish business for my wife even doe she's a graduate, the crayfish business has been our means of survival.
My house rent expired since February and my landlady has been on my case promising to throw me and my family out of her house and take me to court. I begged her to collect the N50,000 that I managed to raise but she refused and insists I pay her the complete N170,000 for rent.
Where do I go with my wife and kid,I have exhausted all means of raising funds and the landlady keeps mounting pressure on me. I have failed as a father and a husband, as it stands I am beyond the level of frustration.
*Na wah..sometimes mails like this upset me cos i ask myself,why send this to me?Other times i get really really sad reading stuff like this...Right now i dont even know what i feel.I dont know if he is asking for prayers or for help.
What happens to people like this?No family or friends to help?what about the Church?Can the Pastor or department not help out?

Stella I think this are the situations the church has to come in for that young man. If he is a committed member in a local church and he is been known, then the church should be of help at this point. But is quite unfortunate some wouldn't want to help out. I know of a church that before you are been help, you will present your tithe card. In the case of this young man that hasn't receive salary for 10months, would he have a tithe card to show? Of a truth people are really suffering in this life. I pray help comes his way.

It's just a sad day for me. But death,why? I went to visit this big aunty last month(first week),we talked and talked at length, never knew this will be the last. She has been praying for a child, I asked her why she didn't adopt, she said her husband never agreed to it.She told me she's been married for 25yrs but she still had faith that God will bless her with children at 54yrs. She was even gisting that she invested in lands,many acres ooo,worth several millions but the husband doesn't know about it,that even if the husband searches the whole house,he won't see it where he kept it. She then said she will WILL it to her children by Gods grace but now, she's dead. She was rushed to the hospital midnight of last week. Now the husband is free to remarry and have children. No,its not the man that killed his wife ooo as some people will b insinuating, she had a medical condition which I don't want to disclose. I shake my head when I hear some ladies say they don't want children even if they aren't getting married,pls,try to have at least one or adopted child cos of your old age. I have seen first hand experience where children are needed in d future except u grow up abroad,then they can care for the old . then watch what you eat or drink,cook good food,limit intake if meat cause of colon cancer,reduce the rate at which you use air condition at home,work,car. Take care of your health by going natural but above all,be prayerful. I visited the hospital and its cases of cancer cancer which is prevalent in women. The quality of the ones your customer sold to you at 11k may be higher than the ones of 5k up there. But if you see them, they will look exactly th same thing to a layman. The church cannot help all financially. However from a personal experience the church leadership can support with prayers and when prayers are answered a beggar becomes a giver. The landlady saying no can give more time when God shows you favour. Secondly the aboki at my gate blew my mind recently. He went home as their usual custom and brought his brother to stand in. When he came back the brother refused to leave according to the usual agreement with abokis. He did not fight the man. The next day we saw him with a wheel barrow half full of oranges. He started selling. Two months down the line he sells a full barrow daily. My husband and I were shocked. I asked how much he started the orange trade with and he said 2k. And makes 500 naira on a full wheel barrow daily. I gladly gave additional 2k to encourage him. Summary is where there is a will there is a way. May God direct us all

DeleteThat 'man' in Stella's inbox may not be a man but one of the women who got crayfish recently. She opened an email with her husband or brother's name and mailed Stella. Stella ask the person to go and rent one room in Ibafo or Sango otta with that 50k.

That mail reminds me of that one that wanted to use his land documents to get a loan of 320k in order to pay house rent, he too was claiming that they were owing him at work. This one up here too is saying they are owing him and the company is about to fold up. Both of them didn't mention that they have left the job and searching for another job or doing little things to support the home.
Now if they give him money to pay house rent, what will he be doing to be able to raise the next house rent and also meet other needs?
Tell him to leave that job, go and get a room in out-of-town and start doing little things like Barman, Security, etc. There is dignity in labour.
Don't pay house rent for a jobless man instead, get him something doing. When house rent has been settled, he will relax at home and be eating the food his wife will be providing. Let him go and rent a small place where he will not be able to relax at home any how. The place will be tight for him and noise from neighbours will not allow him to sleep comfortably, he will look for something doing.
If any bv wants to give him money, Stella collect the money and ask him to move to a smaller apartment with the 50k, you can add 10 or 20k to it for him. Then ask him which business he can do, contact another bv and pay for the goods, let the bv supply him and let him start selling. Don't give him money, he will finish it and come back with another format. I'm just saying 'he'. I believe it's a 'she'.
For the man that claim Landlady has threaten to evict him due to non payment of rent, be specific are you asking Stella to pay the rent for you or you are soliciting for fund here? Because the world is a terrible place. Some people might just came up with flimsy stories just to sympatized with them and as well help them financially.

DeleteIsaac baba I need englightment on something. I and my colleagues were talking about data we brought from sellers that gets exuasted in 2/3 days and our IT but said the data people sell is like a bucket.
ReplyDeleteFor example Isaac buys 50gb data from mtn, the data is allocated to him but in like a bucket (figure of speech). Isaac then sells to 50 people. These 50 people at now tapping from that bucket, like all 50 people are using straw to drink from that bucket. That why is everyone data finish in days instead of the 3 months specified.
