Super Eagles Now 47th In The World In FIFA Ranking

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up five spots from 52nd to 47th position on the latest FIFA world ranking for April.




The three-time African champions also moved up to the sixth spot in the continent. On the global ranking, World Cup champions Germany remain the best football playing nation despite a draw and defeat in March. They are closely trailed by Brazil on the second spot while Belgium moved up two places to the third spot following the recent victories recorded. Portugal and Argentina are in fourth and fifth while Switzerland, France, Spain, Chile and Poland complete the world ‘s top 10.


A total of 133 matches were taken into consideration by the football body in the latest ranking.
