Mama Tee Series -Scary Dreams

Is it true that some people wake up and don't remember what they dreamt about?

I wish I can forget my dreams like these people especially the scary ones as I still remember some dreams I had decades ago.

I've had scary, stupid and funny dreams.

I once dreamt that I died. This is about 20years ago, I was in secondary school. In my dream, I was roaming about in my neighbourhood and when I got to the back of our home, I saw my grave, I saw where I was buried. I was dead.
I knelt beside the grave and wept bitterly. I wept for so long. I was so sad I had to die so young. I felt sad for my mum. Sad for my unfulfilled dreams. I wanted to grow up and become a doctor or lawyer, get married, have kids, make my parents proud, grow old. I was still weeping and lamenting when I woke up sweating with tears in my eyes. What a dream! I was so terrified. I thought I would die soon. I didn't tell my mum or anyone. I just prayed.


Another unforgettable and scary dream I had was about ten years ago.
A monster was chasing me with a knife. It looked like a giant chimpanzee but with a very horrible face. It was roaring like a lion and talking like a human. It swore to kill me. I ran and miraculously jumped across a stream into the bush, it was still chasing me when I suddenly began to fly. It was so scary. I woke up sweating profusely. I did fasting and prayer that day. Lol. I also told my mum who prayed with me on the phone.

I had other dreams too over the years. I would see myself in my former schools (primary, secondary and tertiary) playing with my classmates, I would get lost in the bush, I would see myself bathing in public, I would be going somewhere and I would get lost, I would see snakes, I would see dead people and even relate with them, etc.

Years back, I used to see myself eating in my dreams, correct food oh. Oh Lord!

I once saw my mum in my dream beating me with a broom. She was giving me serious beating with a long broom. Chai! I woke up scared and didn't know what to make of the dream. I just prayed and cancelled it. I was now looking at my mum with side eyes for sometime after that dream. I stopped telling her some things too. Lol.
There was a day I dreamt and saw her with my bra. My mum was holding my bra and I challenged her in the dream Hahahahahaha. What a dream!


We all will agree that dreams can put a family in disarray.
For example, after seeing your mum, spouse, aunt, friend or sister chasing you with a cutlass in the dream, will your relationship with that person remain the same? I don't think so.

Dreams can chase some people into the hands of fake prophets and spiritualists.
As for me, dreams used to get to me in those days and I would get really scared and worried but now, I just pray and cancel and wave them off.
