WHEN GOD PREPARES A TABLE BEFORE YOU


Good day to you lovely Mrs Korkus.
I have written several chronicles and sad stories to you. Since you shared my sob stories, you should hear my testimonies too. 

In your blog, I found comfort, healing, strength, hope,faith, patience, love. 
The things I didn't learn in church, I learnt them easily in your blog. 
Yes your blog ministers in a way that I easily understand. God is in this platform.

The only thing I never did on this blog was to openly beg, yes I entered for various competitions that had monetary rewards, but I never won any. 

So I started this year with great hope, great faith that I will make my first million this year. Though I am yet to make it, but with God, God is faithful.
By academic qualification, am in the media field.. But with marriage,arrival of my baby, I needed to make changes to suit us.

As God works in miraculous ways, somebody hinted someone close to me about Poultry farming in the first week of January 2018. 
The normal me is very choosy, I can't even carry chicken, in fact I can't pick out the feathers after it has even been killed.

But my people, I was in the lowest of all places and as the saying goes, a beggar has no choice. 
But I had gotten to the stage where I can do anything legally right to make money.

I had no choice because I was penniless, broke.
I always had data courtesy of my hubby. But my pants has holes in them, I have only two bra, wash and wear. I wear faded cloths but God has a way of meeting our needs. 

It was not as if we are poor but we have to manage Hubbys income.
We didn't have the capital, he earns less than 100k every month. 
I will cry and I was so depressed. I couldn't even send 100 naira recharge card to my parents. And before marriage, I even buy foodstuffs of not less than 10 thousand naira every month in the house.
It looks like Marriage took everything from me. I couldn't even slay on social media, where is the cloth? I prayed everyday never to meet my ex-colleagues and classmates in my tattered looking cloths.

So I went for the training in a government parastatal for 4 weeks. I was fasting and praying for a change of level. I took my child everyday to the long distance training.

My husband has been doing one esusu(petty savings) for over a year now with some colleagues.The money was close to half a million. So hubby said we will be starting with that money. I will be the manager. And we will share profit 50/50.
But there was a dilemma, we don't even own a vacant land and we are still tenants. We continued praying to God.

Two days after the end of training, God ministered in my heart to go and do practical training/internship in a poultry farm close by. 
I buy eggs from there. So I went there immediately to enquire. 

On getting there, the owner informed me that he was relocating to United States. And he was giving out the place at a take away price.
Brethren that was how we rented the place, it had borehole and every equipments needed. We bought our birds and other things. 


In the month of march, we started and God has been showing mercies, we have had no issues and we will never have in Jesus name. We have more than 800 birds though it will take about 6 months before they start laying but we are very optimistic. 

Yes I don't have that office job in a multinational company, I still wear my tear tear pant and manage my two bras, I don't slay on instragram as well. 
But with faith, I know tomorrow is greater. If he can settle me in just 3 months after years of waiting on me, I know he is sufficient for me.

Are you depressed? Suicidal? Cry unto God. He never fails. YES HE CAN TARRY. BUT HE MAKES ALL THINGS PERFECT IN HIS TIME.

PARENTAL BETRAYAL

It has often been said honor your mother and father, for this is the first commandment with a promise. Ephesians 6:2. Growing up as a child, I think this is the most used bible passage given and preached unto us in order to mode and shape our life in the right direction. 


No doubt about that, but little or nothing is been said or emphasized on the same passage of the next verse which said, Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. For the purpose of clarity and the reason for this write up, permit me to say that a lot of family problems today are usually associated with wrong parental upbringing and behavioural attitude towards their kids, which I termed "Betrayal".

In our society today, I have come to see and understand that a lot of things the youth engaged on, is as a result and reflection of how they were been raised up in the family. A child becomes a true reflection of what he or she often see and observe within the family, as a man you constantly  hit your wife in the presence of your children and by tomorrow you wonder why and how your son turn into a wife beater, you blame it on societal influence or drugs but truth is that you ruined that child and betrayed the trust and confidence they had in you. 



As a woman you constantly nag at him before your kids, calling him a useless man, you don't even know why you married him in the first place and often times you held his cloth blocking him from going out in the morning and tomorrow you blame innocent people for been your enemies when your daughter is been driven out of her husband house forgotten that you taught her that was the best she can do to any man.

There is no worst feelings in life as to when children pitch tent against their parents, that is the beginning of a broken home. I cried seeing families living in separation, the man having one or two of the kids to himself and the woman having maybe the daughters to herself and I asked, what have they achieved in doing that? Marriage was never said to be  a thing of must, if you aren't mature and capable why go into it? Why bring innocent children on earth to suffer? You can't provide for them knowing your financial level yet you went ahead suffering an innocent woman to bore you so many children beyond your capability and by tomorrow they end up taking into crime to survive or prostituting in order to get a better life simply because you can't provide for them, what kind of betrayal could be worse than this? 


A girl I dated few years back told me her elder brother left home and swore never to return again simply on the fact that he requested 50,000 from the father to go into small business but was disappointed in the pretence of there was no money only to heard that  the father gave 50,000 to his uncle for burial preparation that same week, is over 22years he left when he was in his twenties, no one has seen or heard from him till date, if he is dead or alive no ones knows. The father died few years ago and was buried yet no sign of him. 


So painful! Isn't it obvious that it is the parents that failed at first before the society and government can be blame for any other thing? I can go on and on but space here isn't friendly unto me, May God bless our various homes and parents so that the family will be a happy union together.

FACEBOOK SCAMMER ON THE LOOSE


Good day blog visitors, I wish to use this channel to call out a guy who is not just a fraud but also a criminal and let people know about his operation. The guy is impersonating a lady on Facebook with the name Ngozi blessing Okezie, at first the name was Mummy blessing Humphrey and after he robbed the last victim which the information came to me, he decided to change the profile name to the current Ngozi blessing Okezie which I believe he will still change after another person fall victim. This is how he operate, using that Facebook account  claiming to be London based and minister of the gospel, targeting desperate ladies seeking for marriage here in Nigeria. He will pretend as the woman and referred any lady to himself claiming that the man is God fearing and has returned from UK to Nigeria to do some transaction. This is where the real him now comes out, he will now contact you on the pretence that mummy gave him your number, he just came back from London and will be staying just a month and will like to see you. This is usually easy for him because he operate the said mummy account, and unknowingly to the victims when they go back to the claimed mummy to inform her that a suitor has come, the same guy will respond to them posing as the mummy saying yes she knows him very well that they should go ahead and not be afraid. (At this point permit me to say people should be mindful of group they joined on social network, most of them are fraudulent)

With that assurance the lady will start communicating freely and will be invited by the guy to come over to see him and that when coming you should come with an international pastor and medical test result so he will process your document for you to travel back with him all to make it look real. This was how he lured the last victim to a hotel in Owerri and robbed her phones, gold wrist watch and cash after they slept that night.


 I was informed earlier by the victim before it happened, when the scam started I told her not to go any where for it can't be real, I added the impersonator at first when the victim  told me the woman  connected them both, but when I asked a question to the impersonator, she blocked me on Facebook and that was when I know it is a scam and told her not to go but she lied to me she isn't going but did .


 This is how he does the robbing, he will take your phone and make a call to someone and requested the person to transfer money into an account he will send to the person but first he will ask if you came with ATM card? If you said yes he will take your account and forward to his partner in crime and beg you for your card and pin to go and withdraw the money. 



He will also beg for your phone to go with, with the excuse that his phone just develop a fault so he can't hear or make calls. By the time he goes he withdraw everything in your account and move with your phone. You can view the Facebook profile of the thief impersonator @ Ngozi blessing Okezie, also his numbers are  08165010096, 09038002865. With his first number his name appeared to be Anthony Nwankwo on Facebook without any profile picture and just 18 friends.


 To see his picture and that of the impersonating mummy, pls type in your search bar on Facebook stonecold odiegwu. I created that account special for this. Facebook name is stonecold odiegwu. I know Stella may not like to upload the photo here, so you can view it there @ the Facebook name is stonecold odiegwu. He is the one on the profile picture while the said mummy is the one at the cover photo.

Ikeja Electric - The Constant Oppression And Unjust Disconnection.



Hi Stella,
Permit me to put this here because the constant issue with PHCN/IKEDC is just frustruating. Your medium is usually far reaching, please help.

I live in one of the Lagos State Govt quarters in Ogba and i use a prepaid meter. Now these people have a constant knack of always disconnecting the power to all the buildings whether you are owing or not then asking for a re-connection fee. I find this appalling because the fact that i use a prepaid meter automatically means i am not indebted right.

 Then asking for a re-connection fee??? Who in their right minds disconnects a prepaid meter with thousands of units to last months, in the first place.


I understand if there are individuals that are owing but in this advanced age, shouldnt they target these individuals as opposed to making everyone suffer for it. I remember speaking to one of their staff, and she said that is the way it will be to get everyone to pay.... For Petes sake!!! 

I just had a surgery and this heat is just making things unbearable. My baby is covered in heat rashes. Its not as if the power was constant but we cushioned the epileptic supply with generator. Now its been 4 days general disconnection, my meter is loaded with units and no power. I just dont get it.

You know the irony of this is that there is a police quarters right beside my estate but they have power. I cant help but conclude that double standards is at play here because they would rather harass those of us that are 'toothless', as opposed to looking for police wahala...

It's just terrible!

I use a prepaid meter. It does not make any iota of economic sense to disconnect it. There is a reason this type of meter was introduced in the first place and i believe accountability is one of them. This whole process makes it look like a sham and renders it inefficient.  Please target the people that have not paid their bills.

Its.not so much the supply but the lackadaisical approach to the entire thing.

I just hope the right set of people will read and address this.
