I for one use to bake a lot when I was younger during the holiday, but being a career woman and a working mother doesn't give more women time.
You people want more women like our mother's time that were housewives that will bake,cook and clean. You also want career women that will split expenses with you.
You can be like our fathers those days too that provide 100% for the home. But you don't want that.
You will see them saying I want a career woman, don't want a wife that seats at home doing nothing. At the same time you want someone who will be baking and cooking every minute abi.
If you meet a man today, he will ask you where you work. If you don't have a job they will start giving you side-eye. Thinking you want to drop family problem on them.

A friend of mine is a classic example of this, he is talking marriage yet no Job, relying on his younger ones for virtually everything down to feeding,he is always on blogs 24-7 doing absolutely nothing. no job, no business nothing, advance man for that matter.

DeleteAnnon 14:51, bed and roses hasn't said anything wrong. The vp's wife has paid her dues, she doesn't have a 9 to 5 job anymore. Her time is more flexible. A regular career woman will not have the time to bake something this elaborate if she has the time to even bake at all. Managing the home with a career isn't easy, very soon you will understand.

ReplyDeleteOne thing l observed looking at the wedding pictures is how beautiful our VP’s wife looked. First time seeing her wear any type of makeup. She looked stunning. She needs to continue wearing that eyeliner and lipstick oo. RCCG needs to chill on this makeup thing. Hope dem nor go vex say she paint face.
Which RCCG says no make up? Better say what you know. My pastors(a regional pastor) wife(she's also a pastor) ministered at this wedding and she does make up(heavy) steady.

Lafresh, I attended RCCG for years before l left Nigeria. My Sister is a Minister and her hubby is s Pastor in PH. Before that, none of our pastors wives wore makeup. Just say the ones in Lagos or Abuja. Even the female choir members don’t wear makeup.
DeleteSecondly, I have friends who attend RCCG way back in PH. They wore lipstick Monday through Fridays to work but none on Sunday because they were all Church workers. A Redeemed Pastor even asked me why l wear lipstick and compared the ones who didn’t wear any lipstick to Church on Sundays.
I know what l am talking about.
Even the pastors wife here in the US does not wear any makeup. Not even eyeliner.
