Sen. Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna Central District, has said despite the reconciliation undertaken by Bola Tinubu, leader in the All Progressives Congress (APC),there is still a ‘civil and cold war’ within the party.
Sani, who spoke in Ibadan, Oyo State, during an interview on Fresh F.M, said Tinubu, who chairs the party’s reconciliation committee, was given the task of “bringing peace between Arab and Israeli,” wondering if the task could be undertaken before the 2019 elections.
On election re-ordering, he explained that the National Assembly took the decision to prevent what he called a “mass trial and mass conviction” of its members, adding that Nigerians would have a choice to assess their lawmakers separately from President Muhammadu Buhari.
The National Assembly is made up of distinguished personalities: doctors, lawyers, engineers, academics and all who made it in life. But because of this culture of secrecy and silence, people who found themselves in the National Assembly are criminalised and stigmatised. The dome of the National Assembly is being seen to house people of questionable character and integrity. So, what I did was to rescue the honour and credibility of the National Assembly by removing the veil secrecy to bring it once and for all to an end.

I don't understand this man. The other day, he was against Hate Speech bill even though he admitted that hate speech needs to be tackled seriously.
ReplyDeleteNow he's saying this again. Me no understand him. You can't yinmu and sufe(whistle) at the same time. Na one u go do. If he wants to leave the APC, he should do that already instead of this hanky panky
A deseaa, you are either genuinely ignorant and lacking in understanding for which you can be forgiven, or you are being mischievous. The senator has always been consistent. He is against the hate speech bill becos, it is retrogressive. He is now saying nobody should suffer for The Dullards poor performance instead, everybody should be judged based on merit. You do not have to agree with your party when the people saddled with leadership like Buhari is a joke. The senator is a rare man in the midst of short sighted people. He does not put party before his conscience and the good of the nation. I wish we have more men/women like him in positions of leadership. Nigeria can only be better for it. Do you now understand????
DeleteI love him die.. Keep kisses my Senator na you we know
