DeleteMy husband proposed 5 after days after we spoke on phone. The first time we met was when we came back for out traditional marriage. It's been 5 years of bliss. The guy worships the ground I walk on. Thank God I took that decision. Even my family didn't know we never met before fixing our trad. I didnt want anybody to discourage me. Now, I don't encourage anyone to take my foot steps, because it worked for me doesn't mean it will work for another. Ours actually worked because of the kind of guy my husband is. He held it all together for us, and most importantly he is God-fearing, real God fearing and career driven. I will save our story for another day. Because of this, my dad never encouraged boyfriends. So if you're dating and the guy hasn't said anything serious, don't bring him home. Cos my father will ask him immediately what he wants and where its going. Not to be hanging around his daughter and be familiar without a plan.
