  1. Stellakoko _Their next year demand notice will indicate in the balance brought forward from previous years a minus and the amount land use charge is owing them. Then the current LUC will be deducted from it. Thank God it was reduced. The complaints were just too much.

  2. If we can be united like this in other pressing matters of national concern, we might get things done.

See this Lag own for example, pple who were not even directly affected by the policy follow carry am for head, alongside the state residents.

We should learn to be united against bad policies of governments!

    1. There's no Lagosian that was not affected by this bill unless the person is living under the bridge; because even if you don't have any property & your landlord gets served, believe you me that your house rent will definitely reflect that charge. That is why everyone provoked.
People began to see visions of increase in house rent/office space/shop rent even school fees sef !

  3. Stella I'm sure nobody has paid anything. I saw one issued to a building at omole estate and I wept for the owner. Almost 4.5 million charge and if he didn't pay by August the 200% penalty charge pushes it to almost 9 million! Fear grip me oh!
To think my sister and I were all out for the proposed rally against this useless draconian charge. It's like Ambode wants to financially ruin everyone in this lagos. Thank God for the uproar against the charge. God willing it will be reversed to what it was before. Nwoke uchu!

  6. The will of the people must always prevail. The people installed the government to be the people's servants and not their master. That is what democracy is all about. We thank God that democracy prevailed at the end of the day.
