    I forgave then because I was naive, I felt since it was a one off (to the best of my knowledge) and everyone begged for him even my big brother,and things were cool but there was that lack of trust lurking somewhere in my head . Sometimes I wonder if it would not have been better to walk away then than have to live with someone I don't fully trust....... and because of my nature this is hard.     Well, a relationship can never remain the same once cheating is involved. I've never taken someone back after cheating and I won't advice anyone to. It will definitely be a relationship surviving out of pity. People say forgive and forget, but it's easier to advise than taking advice...

    He cheated on me immediately after wedding, I endured and forgave him, but after a year and three months in marriage I could not take it from him cos he cheated on me and rob it to my face. Cos the way some people talk about their exes mehn, as if they've been dating since the day they were born.     Okay lemme answer. I always advise people to move because of my experience and that of most people I know. I was once in a relationship and after about 6months into the relationship I found out that my "supposed boyfriend" cheated with my bestie. The kind of pain I felt eh no get twins. I wanted to dump him. His dad and mom whom I respected so much begged, his sisters, friends and almost everyone including my bestie that it was a drunk mistake. That's how I agreed o. This was in 2012, I don't even snoop sef, I no get time. In my mind I thought he changed but who sigh, two months into the "I'm a changed guy status" him and his friend had a fallout while playing PS and the guy called him a 3mins man in my presence o. i asked him what it was about he started to mumble. He couldn't say one sensible thing. After that incident I knew something was up but I didn't have any proof, I still didn't check phone or anything. We were going to church together we usually use his car and we put change most times in his pigeon hole. I saw a wallet that's not ours, I asked and he said "remember that day wen I go carry Matthew from airport him gf forget her wallet. On New Year's Eve of 2013 somebody knocked on the door, I peeped and opened it was this huge girl, I don't know her but I could tell she was naija from her accent. She said where is your man? I was like he's inside sleeping she said go and wake him up, the tone was angered. I went and woke him up o. Oboy what didn't I hear? That's how two of them started insulting themselves in my presence o. The wallet I saw then was hers, he seized it cos she stole his gold chain. She claimed that him and 5 of his friends slept with her and the didn't pay the money they agreed on. See my life? This girl entered kitchen and grabbed a knife to stab him in all in my presence o. I no see mouth talk talk less of cry. After the whole thing I gather my stuff to one of my homegirls place so I can get my own place and that's how he involved my own family but I already done signed the lease and was living by myself. So I didn't go back then. That's how he became sick, he got fired from his job. He almost went crazy o. Everyone was begging my own parent fa, he couldn't even keep up with his bills they evicted him, he got an accident and car was salvaged. I let him come stay with me and we started counseling o. Two months into staying with me in my own apartment I found condoms under my car seat. Oboy I wan craze, that's how I found out he's cheating with some stripper girl o. I chased him away finally. After that experience and that of most people I know that are dealing with unfaithful partners, I found out they never stop. So I advise people so they don't make the mistakes I made. Truth is cheaters never change male or female.

    I've never had a cheating partner (at least none that I know of) but if I had, I won't take back. I'd also advise anyone with a cheating partner to walk. Many have died of incurable sexually transmitted diseases because they stuck with an unfaithful partner. I value my life so much more than any relationship. Love is inexhaustible.
