Why do men tell their gfs they love them, show them off on their social medias but still cheat on them?
ReplyDeleteJamb question.
DeleteWhy not do same. Is cheating for only men ?????
I would believe him, due to the fact that he has prayed about it and I really really know and trust him.
ReplyDeleteHow bout trusting God?
Deletewhats wrong with ur hearing or instincts that God had to go thru ur fellow mortal
This time around,i would definitely listen cos my dad's pastor warned me seriously against my baby daddy,he even told my dad i wouldn't listen,i got home, called him and narrated all what d pastor said,he then ask me what i intend doing next, mumu me still open mouth say i go stay with him, wetin con happen last last?OYO be my story
ReplyDeleteChai. God will give you the happiness that you seek.
DeleteYour dad's pastor isn't telling you to close legs that fornication is sin before God?
DeleteOdiegwu, ndi pastor!
The pastor warned her about the baby daddy.. You didn't think fornication was part of the warning because sin has so beclouded your sense of judgement. Ndi pastor indeed
DeleteI respect Men of God but am of the opinion that If we all get to know God personally, pastor's words will most times only come as confirmation to what God has told you or opened your eyes to.
ReplyDeleteTo the question, I will pray for clearance and take my decision based on the outcome of my personal prayer.
Never, I will never/NEVER.
ReplyDeleteReason:
John 10:27 John 10:27-28 King James Version (KJV)
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
if you are Jesus' sheep (his follower), you will hear his voice, he will lead you. He did not say that his shepherds (pastors) hear his voice, it is his SHEEP.
If you do not hear him, he does not lead you, you are not his follower; period!
I will not listen oh, that was how my pastors wife told me the hell her younger brother is going through because of revelation that the gal he wants to marry is not his wife but this present one.. After marriage the guy is not happy but nothing like divorce...
ReplyDeleteYou as a person suppose get sense, IQ, to know if u n this person are compatible or not, it's only when u have doubts that u visit these prophet akpan or prophet jeroboam...n of course, nothing good comes outta their facial orifice.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you. Guess work pastors. Why dem no fit see where Dapchi or Chibok girls dey? Even kpa kpa make us know how to stabilize our economy
DeleteLol @prophet akpan and prophet jeroboam
DeleteI will tell the pastor thanks but no thanks
ReplyDeleteHe wants to pour sansan for my garri
I trust you na...
Deleteeven if God come down tap u for shoulder, you'd still plug your earpiece & increase volume.... u wey don see imaginary ring finish, lol.
Well I didnt and im now wishing I did... apparently he saw what I didnt see and now im sleeping on a very very uncomfortable bed.
ReplyDeleteLoooool. No comment really, lemme just laugh
ReplyDeleteI won't.....I don't know but I seem to trust doctors than pastors.
ReplyDeleteThe holy spirit dwells in the live of everyone...just trust God and do his will, everthing Na JARA
I'll take it to God in prayer for Him to confirm it or not.
ReplyDeleteI will not just ingore his prophecy completely but go on to seek God in prayers on my own!
ReplyDeleteI will tell him thank you sir! Then go into my closet and ask God for a sign to back up what my pastor said cos the word of God says once have I spoken and twice have you heard. There will definitely be a confirmation from God.
ReplyDeleteI got this exact prophecy from different pastors.I didn't listen and I thank God for that because 10 years after, I have been so blessed and I am enjoying my marriage so much.I have everything that I can ever wish for!
ReplyDeleteGoing through this at the moment, getting different prophecies that he is not my husband we have be dating for four years now without issues he proposed and I said yes so damning those messages. They don't expect me to dump who saw me through university education with no contribution from no one.
DeleteSame here @anonymous 19:54, mine is even 9years and I have been engaged since '14. I am so ready to settle down since I am now in my 30s and ready in all areas, but mum still insist over her dead body will she allow me marry who different pastors has prohibited me never to marry. I have decided to proceed with the wedding plans this year whether she likes it or not, na she sabi if she gives her or not....When were the pastors when this man saw me through school and never stop showering gifts, care and every important ingredients in relationship.
DeleteBetter continue with your relationship. Someone like Pastor Chris okotie he has married and divorced twice. Why didn't he see it.
DeleteIf you know in your heart this man is a good man and you have never had issues. You can also seek God's guidance yourself.
There are some people that pastor even tells them that is their spouse and they still divorced
Bed and roses nna meeehn
DeleteBed and Roses wetin bring Okotie inside this matter,is he the only clergy that have divorced? He has been out of the media minding his life and his ministry, you want to drag him back. Please put RESPECT to that name, he is one of the most underrated Nigerians and I believe he derserve more. From being a child star being highly sought after by all the unity schools then for his brilliance/intelligence and talent thereby bagging schorlarship into one of those schools alongside his music career proceesing to achieve a law degree from University of Nigeria NSUKKA and still dishing us some of the best music of his and our time. He did reach legend status with his rendition of the Classic' gone to Carolina'beating the original version. He didn't kill his wife like the gangster bling one time CAN president or marry few months like our holiest pastors getting married after the deaths of their ' beloved' wives. Before I go let me leave you with some of his songs you can get them on youtube under the name Kris Okotie.... Koko,Gone to Carolina, take it along to Stella etc
DeleteCaro what??? Be like say dem never born me cos I don't know his songs.
DeleteI wonder why you ppl take pastors like super human or demi gods. They are men/women like you and I,don't be fooled.
I used him as an example because he is the only clergy man 2ce divorced.
I though it is only though infidelity that you are allowed to divorce. Did his two wives committ adultery ?
I'm trying to let you see that pastors are human beings themselves who also makes mistakes and get things wrong. Even in their own marriages .
They will be seeing visions but not for themselves....... that was how one pastor saw revelation for me;that I will get married soon,my husband would be this or that. I said sir but I no find husband I have already. Next thing jump to TTC matter. Meanwhile I don't have. He even said it's like I'm handling a big project now, building a house etc. Meanwhile I'm not.
Take what pastors say with a pinch of salt.
If you already have hiccups and major challenges in the relationship and pastor says no. You can even drop it.
But if your man is treating you well, carries out his responsibility as a man,has a genuine good heart etc. You better bone that prophecy.
Next thing they will bring one church rat in their church for you and say he is your husband.
I know someone personally that did that. They instructed her in church that it was revealed she is to marry so and so man. When I saw the man I was shocked. This is a lady that schooled and works abroad doing well and they now hooked her to a guy who is far far below her level. Was confused maybe he is her driver.
Offcourse the marriage didnt last. No attraction or love.
Anonymous 23:57 Fuck off I beg
Deleteanon 23:57
DeleteMtcheeeeeew, Rubbish!!!
We're not challenging his IQ level or lifetime achievements here.
Other anon... dont dare disappoint those men in your lives, village ppl have seen who to use & change your blues to afrobeat, no gree.
No and never.
ReplyDeleteMany people make this mistake and it cost them a lifetime of sorrows. I have read the bible cover to cover many times and still reads it daily. No pastor is bestowed scripturally with that right. A man , any believer, finds his wife and that is a good thing and favor from the Lord.
As many as a led by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God -Romans 8:14
If your pastor did it, Satan has deceived both of you.
Hmmmmm. I respect men of God o, but when it comes to marriage , I believe you have to pray your prayer. When it comes to marriage, it is a personal race. If the man of God tells you whatever has told you whatever he told you, you aren't go to God in prayers and either confirm or refute whatever you have been told. You don't just swallow whatever and begin to act on it. Is the pastor God? What has God told you? My elder Sis entered a "one chance marriage" on in the name of Pastor said this, pastor said that. She never loved the guy and the guy didn't love her too. He just wanted a trophy wife. She has never enjoyed her marriage. With all the unhappiness she has experienced, the stupid guy still infected her with HIV. She blames my mom for pushing her into believing the man of God that insisted the guy was her husband.
ReplyDeleteChaiii double wahala. How does one marry someone they don't love.
DeleteSo sorry
it happens every Saturday my dear, loveless marriages on the rise, blinded my money & few yrs of comfort, ignoring the bigger picture....
DeleteI don't trust any pastor. Do not misunderstand me. I am a Christian and one that reads my bible very well and I am in fellowship with folks of like minds.
ReplyDeleteMy fiancee's pastor then wanted her to dump me and marry someone in "their church" cos I was determined to follow my calling in another dimension against his advice to jump ship and join his church. The tragedy was that the day he made the final move to split us, we met and he still encouraged me to go ahead whereas he just visited and asked the girl to dump me a few minutes earlier.
Well, we both had clear leading from God to go ahead and we did. We've been married for ten years and never had any quarrel. We have kids and following God in our calling as a couple.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Take it to the Lord in prayers, moreover I should have seen signs, red flags, just anything, even dreams or womanly instincts..
ReplyDeleteI will not. Let me share an experience that happened while I was a new Christian in a particular ministry in my town:
ReplyDeleteA very committed lady in our church (note Church but her commitment to God is what I can't vouch for) dated a man for 6 months. Both at some points belonged to the choir. The man in her own view was quite dedicated. Even the pastor confirmed that he is her husband. And of course as you'd guess, the man is loaded. So they wedded and lady went to live with her husband. It was then that her eyes popped open; the man is a radical Muslim; almost the boko type! He had boasted to his friends that he must marry this lady and when the thing got down to a bet running into millions of naira, he decided to join the church and subsequently the choir. Of course your guess is a good as mine, marriage packed up as soon as it started. The lady even in counselling found it difficult to forgive the pastor. But wasn't she laying her frustration on another person?
Lady Igo of life...
DeleteI will listen to him, because I cannot afford to make a mistake of marrying the wrong partner.
ReplyDeleteyour 1st mistake is listening to the wrong person u dont know... cus he calls himself pastor
Delete#Most problems are solved with patience. Most problems are made worse with reaction*
ReplyDeleteI believe when it comes to decision of whom to spend the rest of ones lives with its solely our responsibility to decide..personally, I'm of the opinion that we all have the power to pray to God to direct us and show us if we are on the right track. .I've done this myself a no of times and I get revelations thru dreams, but what's more important is if the man acts right,if he's who u really wanna be with,if he makes u happy,if you both compliment one another and the list goes on..if at the end of the day he has more advantages then I think one should give it a shot without letting a mere mortal complicate the whole thing and at the end of the day its gets messy..
ReplyDeletePersonally,if I don't like a man I won't even bother praying about him cos its not just gonna work, recently I broke up with someone I'd say he's almost perfect but hey,I don't just dig him..i tried and tried..so I resorted to prayers and ur guess is as good as mine..even thou ain't getting any younger but then its better to wait long that end up so wrong!
In 2011 a pastor called me out in a church and told me in front of the congregation that the two men in my life are only deceiving me. Actually I had 2 men.Mr A who was a long time toaster but I never liked him but only chopping his money and Mr B who was my real bf then. I just started dating Mr B and it was so good. OK so somehow I told Mr B that a pastor said he was going to disappoint me just so we could yab the pastor together .we laughed over the prophecy cuz I thought he was real. It was after I gave him my virginity that I realised that I was the side chic. Years later I am now married to Mr A and we are counting 4years already .He has been the best husband.
ReplyDeleteI pray about any relationship I start investing and immersing myself in. It has never failed me. Most times, the man of God only confirms what I've already got revelation about.
ReplyDeleteI will listen to him if I know he's genuine pastor not fake and end time pastors
ReplyDeleteI am not yet married but I have a story to share. I met my current guy during NYSC. When we were about passing out, my roommate then told us to contact her pastor about our trip. This man said that I can go home but my boyfriend should go but fast for 7 days before leaving. So, the babe gave me the phone o that the man will have something to tell me.
ReplyDeleteAccording to her, the man is very hot and it was someone that introduced her to him, although she hasnt seen him physically.
This man( guy) asked if I have a boyfriend, I said Yes. He told me that the guy is just wasting my time, and that I shouldn't marry him. This is someone that spoke with me on the phone for the first time that day.
My guy and I left days later, although he fasted o. He was scared. He even heard what the guy pastor said because we were all in the room and the guy voice was kinda loud. I copied his number somewhere else and saved it on my phone with another name entirely, and I told my roommate the name I used in saving it. I got home and the number was no more on my phone.
The guy pastor continued calling and saying different prophesies. He even told me to meet him t one theology school very close to my town of residence. I didn't go and my phone got spoilt for months.
Nine months later, I saw his number where I copied it. I sent him a message on WhatsApp, introduced myself as a different person and told him to pray on three names for me. He told me that my boyfriend (the one he once condemned o) is the best and the most caring man for me, and said many funny things about the rest of the guys. Two months later, he sent a message that children of God should assist him with money. He even asked for 15k. I told him that I don't have but he said that any amount will be okay. It was on wtsapp I saw his picture. He is one young guy like that. I told him that I am jobless and he said that before the end of that month , his God will provide a job for me. I said Amen o and told him that I will send the money if I get the job that month. It has been two months now and I am still jobless. I had the money then but I was not stupid to give out 1 kobo. The guy was just a confused fellow. I am happy that I didn't listen to him. I just pity those that might have fallen into his trap.
I promise myself to confront that my roommate that introduced the guy to me, on my wedding day. My boyfriend still thinks that it was my roommate that set the whole thing up; say, maybe she was the one that told the guy to tell me those stuff because she knows that I won't listen to her if she had told me herself.
This my guy is the first man I will date and have confirmations in my dreams for up to five times now. I had never dreamt of any of my Exes. But this man wants me to leave the man that gives me love and peace of mind.
I am a prime example of this, my pastor told me that my husband wasn't right for me because he is catholic but guess what i have been happily married for 7 years. No regrets whatsoever. I am glad i took that bold step. So long as you are totally convinced with peace in your heart go ahead.
