February feels strange,cant explain it!....positively strange!
Today is my teeth checkup day and i hate it so much,only look forward to adding one more Swavroski stone to the ones on my teeth..lol
How many of you check with your dentist every now and then?Very important oh please.
I am going to do what i said i wouldn't do by announcing the last recipient of the business giveaway......I am doing this to show those reading that doing good/right pays off.....
The last recipient for the Business giveaway is Ladyport....She qualified for this becos even though she badly needed money,I mistakenly transferred too much to her and she returned the money without baiting an eyelid...such Character is rare in these hard times...
I am one of those people who believe that such acts should be rewarded....What she did blew me away and stole my heart away...it pays to stand on the right side of the Boulevard.
That said....moving on!

I resigned December 15 when my ex-director owed November and December salary. This man has the habit of pending salary. He just paid the people that are still there their November salary o and half salary for December. Then what about us, that resigned. He said that I planned it with the other guy, and that we didn't give him enough notice of our resignation. So, he said he won't give us our December salary and he just started paying November o. I am still shocked o because this is the man that sacked four teachers on that same Dec 15. A man that can just call you a day before resumption not to resume with them. Did he always give people notice before sacking them. Anyways, I've sent his Admin and Bursar to him. I have plans to call him next week and remind him how he always tell us that he is always happy with our progress, and ask him if he really meant those words. I think I'm being progressive by leaving such a toxic and draining environment. Let them first balance my November salary. Little wonder the students have been calling me to tell me that the haven't found a good replacement after I left. I told them to go rant to their proprietor. I was forced to tell them that the man owes me money when they kept on asking me the reasons why I left.

ReplyDeleteWhen I go for my morning jogging, I pass by this house, about five houses away from mine.
The dog barks so loud and at the same time tries to force itself out by putting its head under the gate...
At first, I used to just run past, but yesterday while it was it again, I figured that it couldn't possibly get its body out through the space under the gate.
So today, while I jogged past the house, it's usually still a little dark when I jog, I got to the gate, the dog did its usual thing, and then I moved closer to the gate, it intensified its struggle to come out, I turned, shook my bumbum at it, did a tongue-out, jumped up with my hands in the air, tried to gwarra gwarra, the dog kept struggling to come out and it was barking really loud.
Finally, I decided to stop the silliness and head to my house, just as I took the bend to my house, I heard dog steps(please don't ask me how I knew cos I didn't even look back to check if it was real or just my head messing around)...
I broke into a run that i am sure Usain bolt got nothing on, I didn't stop till I was in my room and the door was locked behind.
Tomorrow, I am changing my route just incase....

Hello Blog visitors, I need advice for a food vendor event. I already paid but I am on a budget and I don't have my own utensils because I live with my uncle. What do you think that people will want to buy/eat?
ReplyDelete1. Goat and catfish peppersoup. I will borrow pots and a kerosene/gas stove. I will also buy take away plate. I will pay more for transport because of plenty load.
2. A mini burrito bar. I know where to get all the ingredients. I will prepare the ingredients from home and only take a sandwich maker with some utensils. I can save up to 3000 naira transport cost.I already have a huge roll of foil.
3. Packaged small chops combination of puff puff, spring rolls, asun etc., prepared from home in Styrofoam plates. I can arrange everything in a large bag and use public transport. No need for any heating/cooking equipments.
I will need to borrow their (my uncle's) pots, pans, etc. I Can't drive and don't have access to a car. My uncle has a portable oven and sandwich maker that I can borrow but I don't have a kerosene/gas stove.
I have been to this event as a visitor and I didn't see anyone selling any of these things I mentioned above.
Which one will be profitable for me please? Drop any advice you have please. Thanks.

Wake up at insane o clock, curse the world.
Have a shower at 5 past insane o clock, curse the world and it’s dog
Try to eat at 20 past insane o clock, bite into food with aggression and hate.
Hit the road 5 past mad o clock, wish death on everybody who decided that this was acceptable and all the nasty drivers.
Get to work at 25 to are you freaking kidding me o clock, also known as 35 past mad
Turn on pc at 23 to are you freaking kidding me o clock, wish terrible things on boss, join other colleagues in hoping boss will some day have to feel like this, join colleagues in morning ritual of assuring each other that this is sufficient reason to plead insanity in court should we decide to make our point physically one day.
Try to concentrate on work, sometime after are you freaking kidding me it finally seems to work, curse the person that said we shouldn'tbe addicted to caffeine.
At some point boss walks in happy, around reasonable time actually o clock, which is about 1,5 hours after we are forced to be there.
We all hate getting up so early, and we mostly hate being told by someone who doesn’t have to get up so early that “It’s not so bad”. Except of course that one morning person colleague who is just too damn happy in the morning….grrr….
But last last that pesky having to earn money to eat and affordable good things Is the drive.
End of rant.

Yesterday was 4 months birthday of Petrol scarcity. The longest in the history of this democracy. And yet nobody is talking about the situation. All we hear is that President Buhari will contest for 2nd term. Where are all those Adams Oshiomhole led governors. Labour Congress, all those hypocrites that protested day and night during Jonathan's era have suddenly turn to dumbs. They forget that "the man who shits inside a running stream, if the father's family miss to drink from that stream, his mother's family will not miss it". How long will they continue to deceive Nigerians, or have WE suddenly lost the zest to protest. Can't even believe this man will have the guts to come out for a second tenure.
