ReplyDeleteI remember one time in primary school we were about leaving for school one morning, an uncle of mine came visiting, as he was leaving he dashed us (my brothers and I) either one naira or five naira note (can't remember which). As mumcy was going to see him off we went to our security guy to change the money into coins hmmm! We were in the process of sharing the money mumcy came back. Note, we weren't planning on taking the money to school oh! Mumcy said we should have shown her the original note before changing it, we received the beating of our lives that day eh! To even compound the issue we were late for school, this woman still sent us to school that we should trek instead of dropping us off or giving us transport money, knowing fully well that we would be punished for late coming.
Will never forget that day in my life, even if she travels if you give me money, I will keep it till mumcy returns and show it to her intact.
Mothers are really awesome!

ReplyDeleteMy mums drama is outta this world. Don't even try using her car bcoz she will tell how much each tyre cost,give you driving lessons and why you shouldn't drive her car. That woman is too much.
ReplyDeleteMothers of course are drama queens.I remember my mum coming to my school(university ooo)with her net and torch and carrying my box on her head and went home with it.she said since I have refused to come home after exams she will carry the clothes she bought,since I'm a big girl I should find a. Way to afford clothes.until today when I remember I want to dig the ground and hide becos of embarassment!and to think one guy wet been dey toast me wet I dey do shakara for was right there,saw all this happening and was chilling mischieviously!!!! Haaaaa
